CBSE Private Candidate Admission 2018: CBSE Board of Secondary Education is inviting the applications for the candidates belonging to the category of NIOP (Class 10), Fail/ Compartment (Class 12) and those who wish to appear in the examination scheduled to be held in March 2018 but have not attended the school in regular mode. The candidates after filling up the application form need to pay the application fee as well. Otherwise, the application of such candidates will be rejected without any prior notice. On this page, the details about the CBSE Private Candidate are given comprising eligibility criteria, application etc. The CBSE Private Candidate Admission is open only for the following categories:
- Candidates who want to apply for full 5/6 Subjects
- Candidates who want to apply for 1 Compartment Exam
- Candidates who want to Improve their Performance
- Candidates applying for additional subjects
CBSE Private Candidates admissions are conducted for Class 10 and 12 candidates only, And furthermore, distribution of the candidates is shown in the figure below. The candidates appearing as CBSE Private Candidates are further divided into two categories given below. Applicants must note that there are different eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to All India and Delhi State. Although, the common link is provided below from where the candidates can redirect itself to their category. Steps to Fill the CBSE Private Candidates Application Form 2018
The steps to fill the application form for the candidates belonging to the category of NIOP (Class 10), Fail/ Compartment (Class 12) is given below. The candidates are suggested to follow the steps below to complete the application form.
- STEP 1: The candidates first have to follow the link given on this page above. After that, the candidates have to look for their category and click on the particular section
- STEP 2: Once the candidates find their section, they need to enter the following details to fill the form:
- Roll Number
- Five Digit School Number
- Year of Examination
- Centre Number
- Class
- STEP 3: The candidates after filling up the above details will be redirected to fill the application form in which they have to fill the details such as Personal, Educational, Communication and Other Important details.
- STEP 4: At last, the candidates have to make the payment of the application fee and they have to submit the form along with the documents mentioned below
Submission of the CBSE Private Candidate Application Form 2018
The candidates after filling up the application form have to submit it to the authority in order t complete the application process. The candidates have to take the printout of the fee payment confirmation page and sign it. Then they have to attach the application form along with below-mentioned documents and sent it to the following address

CBSE Admit Card for the Private candidates will be available on the official website of CBSE. The candidates can also download their Admit Card on this page by entering the required details on the link given below. The admit card s for Class 10 and 12 will be available in the month of January and February 2018.

Steps to Download CBSE Admit Card for Private Candidates
- The candidates are required to log in to the official website of CBSE
- After Login, they need to click on the “Admit Card" Link.
- The candidates must select any one of the options that are Another Region, Delhi Region in the regions section.
- Then the candidates must enter all the necessary details in the prescribed format.
- After submitting the details, the Admit Card of the respective candidates will be displayed on the screen.
- The candidates are asked to take a print out of the admit card for the day the exam
CBSE Private Candidate Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the CBSE Private Candidates Admission 2018 is given in the table below. The criteria are same for the Class 10 and Class 12. Candidate applying under "Compartment" category cannot apply for appearing in "Additional subject" together.
Similarly, the candidates applying for "Improvement of Performance" cannot apply for appearing in "Additional subject" together. The compartment exams can be undertaken by the Class 12 only.
