CBSE Compartment Exam 2018 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for compartment examination for both Class 10 and 12. For Class 10, CBSE compartment exam will be held from 16 to 24 July 2018 in different time slots. However, CBSE improvement exam for Class 12 will be held on a single day i.e. on 16 July 2018. Notification for CBSE improvement exam is available online in a pdf format. However, links to download the pdf is available on this page to download the CBSE compartment notification. Students who were unable to qualify in Class 10 or 12 exams, and have applied for the compartment exam can appear for the exam as per the dates provided below. Dates for the announcement of the result is yet to be announced, however, it is expected that the CBSE improvement exam result will be available in the second week of August 2018. CBSE Improvement Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria

CBSE Improvement Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria is given below. The candidates can check eligibility criteria for their respective class before applying online. 

Eligibility Criteria for Class 12

A candidate whose result would be declared as the compartment in March 2018 or March 2017 (who appeared as the full subject candidate and placed in the compartment is eligible to apply only in one subject in which he/she has been placed in Compartment.

Eligibility Criteria for Class 10

The candidate who applied through the Private Application form and appeared for Class 10 Examination held in March 2018 and placed in the category EIOP is only eligible to apply.

CBSE Improvement Exam 2018 Application Process

Those candidates who want to participate in CBSE Improvement Exam 2018 must fill the online application form. However, the online application form is only for the private candidate. The regular candidate can only fill CBSE Improvement Application form through their school. Candidates should take a print of confirmation page of the application form and must sign it before sending it to the regional office. Candidates should visit the official website of CBSE to fill the application form or click on the following link. In class 12 Consolidated mark sheet will be issued only to Candidates whose result was declared COMPT in 2017/2018 examination and thereafter declared Pass in Compartment July 2018 examination.

Steps to fill the CBSE Improvement / Compartment Exam Application Form

STEP 1: Candidates have to enter their Roll No. School No., Centre No. as mentioned in the admit card.

STEP 2: Candidates have to enter their address and select the subject (Class 12 only)

STEP 3: Candidates have to submit the filled application and note down “Application ID” for further process.

STEP 4: Candidates have to upload their recent scanned colour photograph (max size 50 KB; JPG) and scanned signature (max size 4 KB; JPG)

STEP 5: After completion of above requirements, candidates have to go to fee payment option and make payment.

Submission of Application Form

The application form of CBSE Improvement Exam 2018 can be filled through online mode, and the signed copy of confirmation page should be sent to ‘Regional Officer, CBSE Regional Office” within 7 days as per address which given in confirmation page along with the copy of Marksheet.

Payment of Application Fee

Candidates can pay the application fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. Candidates from outside India can use the International card for the payment.
