About Yellow TALKS – Essay Competition 2015
- Yellow TALKS – Essay Competition 2015 is being organized by Yellow Talks for the students so as to think out of the box and come out with new ideas, creativity and innovation in any thing and in any field.
- By participating in the essay competition, the students will be encouraged and motivated to discover new ideas and go beyond conventional thinking as every great feat is achieved when we dare to think beyond all conventionalities.
- Deadline: September 30, 2015 (Extended to October 3, 2015)
Topic of Essay
The topic of the essay competition is “Power of Unconventional Thinking”
The students should bring to light the great stories which shone the brightest when people chose to think beyond all barriers.
Students are divided into two groups:
- Junior Group: This group includes students from Class 5 to Class 7
- Senior Group: This Group includes students from Class 8 to Class 10
There is No Participation Fee or any other Fee at any stage

GROUPS
- Students of Classes 5 to Class 7 can participate in Junior Group
- Students of Classes 8 to Class 10 can participate in Senior Group
Topic of Essay
- The topic of the essay competition is “Power of Unconventional Thinking”
Specifications of the Essay
- Language: Essays are to be submitted in English.
- Spacing: Each essay is to be prepared on A4 or letter sized paper with a line spacing of 1.5, using Microsoft Word
- Word Limit: should not exceed 2500 words in length.
Format for sending the Essay
- The front page of the essay should contain the complete information about the participant.
- The essay should start from the second page.
- The first page should contain the below information:
- Name of the participant
- Class
- School name of the participant
- Address of the participant
- Email ID of the participant
- Email ID of the school
- Phone number of the participant
- Phone number of the school
- Category of the participant (Junior Category or Senior category)
Submission
Entries to the Yellow Talks Essay Competition 2015 should be submitted electronically and are to be emailed to essay@yellowtalks.com on or before October 3, 2015.

- The judges are the academicians and the industry experts having experience in research and technology and they will select the BEST Essay amongst all the entries received.
- Result: All the winners will be informed by October 5, 2015. Yellow Talks will send the winner list to the school of the respective winners.
