About Viterbi-India Program
Viterbi-India Program provides opportunities to Indian students to undertake a Research Internship at the Viterbi School of Engineering, USA in summer 2018 for eight weeks.The opportunity is open to engineers pursuing bachelor's or master's studies. Viterbi-India Program is supported by Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California (USC) and the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF)
The Viterbi-India Program is for following things
- Encourage outstanding students to take up research as a career.
- Provide an opportunity to the best and brightest Indian students to gain exposure and access to world class research facilities in the Viterbi School, USA.
- Pave the way for the next generation engineers from India to interact with American peers, thus help to build long-term R&D linkages and collaborations.
- Promote research and capacity building in frontline areas of engineering and technology.

Viterbi-India Program Application form and Process
Candidates have to download the Application Form for Viterbi-India Program from the official website.
Enclosures to be sent along with the Application form
- Current transcript (Latest Marks sheet)
- Two letters of recommendation from a faculty member, advisor or lab supervisor on their official letterhead
- No objection certificate from Parent Institution
Submission of Application Form
- Candidates are required to submit Application Form electronically to viterbi-india@indousstf.org before 15 November 2017.
- Candidates are encouraged to submit the application along with documents as a single pdf document.
- Single scans or other electronic versions of documents will also be accepted.
Viterbi-India Program Selection Process
20 candidates have been selected for this program and will the stipend and airfare. The duration of Internship is 8 weeks. The selection list of last year candidates for Viterbi-India program is mentioned below.
