Vidyadhan Scholarship 2021 - Vidyadhan is an initiative of the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) that helps students who are eager to succeed but have insufficient financial resources. Sarojini Damodaran Foundation creates the backbone of Vidyadhan by choosing the deserving yet needy students for an opportunity. Vidyadhan also creates one on one, a direct connection between sponsor and student. Currently, the Vidyadhan program has around 4300 students across the following states: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa and Odisha. Following are the scholarships offered under Vidyadhan and their names are given below:

Vidyadhan Scholarship 2021 Dates

Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) offers an adequate amount of scholarship. The contribution of the SDF will help the students to live their dreams and transform the lives of multiple generations. The scholarship amount is different as per the courses. The amount of scholarship offered is given in the table below:

The students have to fill up the application form in order to apply for the Vidyadhan scholarship. The application form has been released and the Direct Link to apply online for  Vidyadhan Scholarship 2021 is available below. The application form can only be filled out online mode.  The last dates to apply for the different programs under Vidyadhan Scholarship vary from state to state.

The candidates are given the steps to fill the application form for the Vidyadhan Scholarship. The applicants are suggested to fill the form by following the given steps.

Register for the Vidyadhan Scholarship

• Firstly, the candidates have to register themselves for the Vidyadhan Scholarship for which the applicants have to click on the link given on this page.
• To register, the applicants have to provide their Name, Email Id and have to choose a Vidyadhan Password. Once register, the applicants are suggested to keep the Email Id and Password with them to log in to the Vidyadhan Application next time.

Filling up the Application Form for Vidyadhan Scholarship

• STEP 1: After successfully registering themselves, the candidates have to log in by entering their Email Id and Password to fill the application form.
• STEP 2: The candidates after login need to click on the “Apply Now” button in order to complete the application process.
• STEP 3: Fill the application form further by filling up the information in each section of the form. Then upload the photograph and necessary documents.
• STEP 4: At last, the applicants have to make the selection of the scholarship programme and click on the “Submit Now” button to finally submit the application form.

Documents to be submitted along with the  Application Form 2021

The applicants have to upload the scanned copies of the following documents along with the application form

• Class 10 Mark Sheet
• Class 12 Mark Sheet (For Degree Programme Only)
• Income Certificate (from a competent authority; ration card not accepted)
• Photograph

Submission of the Application Form

Once the candidates have submitted the application form, they have to submit the form by clicking on the "Submit Now" button. The candidates after submitting the form can also edit it by clicking on "Edit Application". Once the candidates will fo the final submission, they will get the message of successful submission.

Any communication from the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation regarding Vidyadhan Scholarship would be done through email submitted by the applicant.

Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) selects the students who are underprivileged, meritorious students promptly based on short bios and academic credentials. SDF will shortlist the applicants based on their academic performance and the information provided in the application form.

The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short test/ interview. The exact locations for the tests and interviews will be informed to the shortlisted students individually. SDF will reimburse the out of district travel expense of the student and a parent for eligible cases. The Test/Interview for all programs will be conducted under these dates.

Vidyadhan Scholarship 2021 - Key Areas for Selection

• Identify: The selection process concludes the rigorous selection considering academic, testing and interviews of the students.
• Verify: Eligibility of the candidates will be confirmed by home visits and ongoing verification of all students submitted documents.
• Monitor: Vidyadhan monitors the progress of each student. It further monitors the usage of funds as per the requirement of the SD Foundation.
• Mentor: Sponsors do have the opportunity to connect one to one with their scholars to mentor them.
