About Velammal's Science Talent Search Exam
- It is a talent search exam for class 1-12 students in Maths and science.
- The examination will be conducted in two rounds. The preliminary round will be held at the schools concerned if the entry at each level is minimum 25 students.
- The best one out of 25 will qualify for the Final round of exam to be held at the Regional Headquarters
- Vellamal Science Talent Search Examination (Preliminary Test) would be held on November 8, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the respective shools of the participants.
- Vellamal Science Talent Preliminary Exam Result would be announced on November 15, 2014.

Velammal's Science Talent Search Exam Eligibility Criteria

Velammal's Science Talent Search Exam Reward
The students from class 1 to 12 are divided in 6 levels. Prizes will be given at each level.

Prize distribution ceremony will be held in August 2015.
Velammal's Science Talent Search Exam Application form and Process
The students have to apply only through school, Direct Entry will not be entertained.
Payment should be made only through the Principal / HM of the school concerned by demand draft drawn in favour of The Organizer, Velammal’s State Level Science Talent Search Exam. payable at Chennai.
Cash accepted only from centres in Chennai.
Registration/ Test Fees
Rs. 50 per student.
Discounts are available to the school if there are more than 25 applicants.
Velammal's Science Talent Search Exam Selection Process
There would be two round of test
1) Preliminary Test (on November 8, 2014)
2) Final Examination ( on January 25, 2015)
- The question paper contains 100 questions and 20 additional questions. Participants of Level I (Std. I & II) will answer only 75 questions.
- Each correct question carries 1 mark.
- Duration of the test: 90 minutes
- The Medium of exam would be English.
- Students should use ball point pen (blue or black) to answer the questions.

The final round will be held on January 25, 2015 at the designated Regional Headquarters namely Chennai, Coimbatore, Kancheepuram, Karur, Madurai, Nagercoil, Puducherry, Salem, Thanjavur, Theni, Trichy, Thirunelveli and Vellore.
Vellamal Science Talent Search previous year papers are not available and so the students are advised to go through the syllabus and the exam pattern to prepare for Vellamal Science Talent Search Exam.
