Pre Matric UP Scholarship - Application Last Date Extended

Pre Matric Scholarship is for the students of Uttar Pradesh who are studying in Class 9-10 in any recognised school in Uttar Pradesh. The Online registration for UP Pre Matric Scholarship 2018 has started from 1 July 2018. Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department, also known as Uttar Pradesh Samaj Kalyan Vibhag offers UP Pre Matric Scholarship 2018 to support the students who are economically weak and comes under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) Category. The students belong to Uttar Pradesh and full fill the eligibility criteria can apply through both online mode from 1 July to 31 August 2018. UP Post Matric Scholarship 2018 - Samaj Kalyan Scholarship

The students of class 9 or 10 selected for the UP Pre Matric Scholarship 2018 will be given scholarship amount as per the following rates:

The candidates have to follow the instruction given below:

• The candidates can fill the application form online on the web portal for UP Scholarship.                                                               
• First, the candidates have to fill the application form by entering their Basic Personal Details, Educational Details, Contact Details, Address etc.
• After completing the UP Pre-Matric Scholarship Form, the candidates will get a Registration Number.
• Now the candidates have to submit the filled application form and take a printout of it for the future references.
• The candidates have to now submit the completed application form along with the required documents which must be self-attested to their respective school within 7 days of submission of online application form.

 Pre Matric Scholarship Application 2018 - Documents Required

The candidates have to submit the following document along with the filled scholarship application form:

• Self-Attested copy of all the important documents
• Self-Attested  copy of Caste Certificate
• Self-Attested  copy of income certificate

• Thereafter, the school will verify the submitted scholarship form and forward it to the scholarship form to the UP Samaj Kalyan Vibhag.

Renewal of UP Pre Matric Scholarship 2018

The candidates who have applied for the UP Pre Matric Scholarship last year and want to renewal the UP Pre Matric Scholarship can apply online. Such candidates can fill the application form on the official web portal for UP Scholarship. 

First, the candidates have to submit the filled application form to their school. After which the school will give approval to the application form and forward it to the UP Samaj Kalyan Vibhag. After school approval, the district school invigilator will approve the exact number of students applied for the UP Pre Matric Scholarship 2018 online.

• Now the state NIC unit will examine each basic point of the scholarship. Now an officer from the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag will signature digitally on the submitted application form.
• On the basis of signature by the officer, UP Samaj Kalyan Vibhag will transfer the scholarship amount to the saving account of the students applied for the scholarship.

The candidates who have already applied for the scholarship, taking the scholarship can check their UP Scholarship Status for 2017-18 and 2016-17  at https://scholarship.up.nic.in. To check UP Scholarship Status for 2017-18 the candidates require their Registration Number and Date of Birth.
