University of Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarships Program 2015

• University of Melbourne, Australia offers International Undergraduate Scholarships to the international students who wish to pursue undergraduate Degree studies at the University of Melbourne. The Application process has started in April 1, 2015 and will end on Nov 1, 2015.
• The student who wish to  first need to apply to the university of Melbourne for the Undergraduate course and receive an unconditional offer letter and then they will automatically be eligible for the scholarship.
• International Undergraduate Scholarships has been launched keeping in view the significant contribution made by international students to the diversity of the University's student population. University of Melbourne annually awards 50 scholarships. In previous years, Scholarships have been awarded to students from countries such as Mexico, Singapore, Bangladesh, China, Mauritius, Sweden, Malaysia, USA and India.

Total Five Selection Rounds are conducted with a designated number of scholarships available for each round:

• For students who join in Semester 1 or 2, the Scholarship is offered in November, December and January
• For students who join in Semester 2, the Scholarship is offered in April and May

International Undergraduate Scholarships Reward

• International Undergraduate Scholarships is in actual terms a “FEE REMISSION SCHOLARSHIP” and it provides international candidates with any one of the below mentioned benefits:

• In the first year of an undergraduate degree, a single waiver of $10,000 is provided on the Fee Remitted.

OR

• For the normal full-time duration of an undergraduate degree, a waiver of 50% is provided on the remitted Tuition Fees

OR

• For the normal full-time duration of an undergraduate degree, a waiver of 100% is provided on the remitted Tuition Fees

International Undergraduate Scholarships Application Process

• NO APPLICATION is required on the part of the candidate to be the beneficiary of this scholarship.

Undergraduate Courses in University of Melbourne

• Those candidates who have received an unconditional offer for admission to an undergraduate degree will automatically be considered.

International Undergraduate Scholarships Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of Marks secured in Class 12 Final results as well as on a competitive basis subject to quotas by course and region.
• On successful completion of Selection Round within two weeks selected candidates are intimated via email.
