Swachh Bharat Short Film Festival 2016

Swachh Bharat Short Film Festival is organised by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and National Film and NFDC (National Film Development Corporation). The short film festival is open to people for all the age group, especially children. 

• Swachh Bharat Film Festival is based on the theme of involvement of Children in Swachh Bharat Mission. The short Film must be sent to NFDC  by September 10, 2016.
• The film should not exceed more than 3 min (180 sec).
• The film festival will be held on October 2, 2016, at Siri Fort Auditorium. The Best film shall win a prize of Rs 10 Lakh and a certificate.

Important Instructions for making the Short film

• The short Film should not exceed not more than 3 minutes (180 sec) and must be in HD format
• The theme of the film is on the involvement of children in Swachh Bharat Mission and the content of the film must be suitable for universal viewing.
• The short film must be made in any of the listed official languages of India and must be subtitled in English.
• The Film must be produced in the last 1 year prior to the festival that is with effect from October 1, 2015.

Submission of the Application Form

The duly filled in Swachh Bharat Short Film Festival Application form must be submitted online to email id sbsff@nfdcindia.com. The applicants also need to send filmmaker’s photograph with resolution 300 dpi. The hard copy of the screener (DVD/USB Drive only) must be sent to the following address:

Swachh Bharat short Film Festival will be held on October 2, 2016, at Siri Fort Auditorium. If a film submitted by the applicants has not been selected, then Swachh Bharat Short Film Festival will inform applicant by letter within one week of the announcement of the final film selection. So, the applicant should carefully provide the address/email id in the Application form.
