Stamp Design Competition on Women Empowerment by India Post

• Department of Post is organizing Stamp Design Competition in which participants need to submit an original design on the theme of “Women Empowerment”.
• Water colour, Oil colour, ink or any other medium can be used for making the design.
• Computer printed designs or printouts of the designs are not permitted.
• Last date for sending the entries is April 15, 2015.
• The prize winning designs will be considered for use on stamps and other philatelic material.

Candidates willing to participate in the Stamp Design Competition, need to create their entries as per the below mentioned specifications.

 Specifications of Artwork

• Allowed Materials: Ink, Water Colours, Oil Colours or any other medium can be used for making the artwork.
• Appealing Design: The artwork should be such that it looks appealing on Stamp, so that it can interest Philatelic Collectors.
• Paper Size & Type: Participants can use any paper of A4 size and white in colour, it can be drawing paper, art paper or any other paper depending on participant’s choice.
• Restrictions: Computer Printed designs are not allowed for the competition.

Things to be mentioned on the Entry

Participants need to mention the following details on the back side of the design:

• Name of the Participant*          
• Age*   
• Gender*
• Nationality*      
• Complete Residential Adress with pin code*    
• Phone/ Mobile no.*      
• E-mail Id (if available)

Submission of the Entries

The entries must be sent to the address given below with the below mentioned enclosures and specifications:

• Enclosure: Participant must send an undertaking along with the entry, stating that ‘the artwork submitted in original and no copyright issues are involved’.
• Entry to be sent by Speed Post: The entry should be sent in an unfolded A4 size envelope only by Speed Post and participant must write “Stamp Design Contest”
•  The entries should reach the below mentioned address prior to April 15, 2015

Stamp Design Competition Selection Process
