About Space Kidz India Competition for College Students
Space Kidz India Competition for College Students 2016, Make For India 2016 is for the college students in the field of Research. The competition is conducted by Space Kidz India,in collaboration with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation. The application process has begun from March 27, 2016, the candidates who wish to participate must submit their entries/projects on before August 15, 2016.
College students with projects which are "economically viable and technologically useful" can participate in Make for India 2016. Project categories are given below:
- Aviation/Space
- Energy Efficient
- Water Resource Management
- Telecommunication
- Agriculture/Environment
- App Development

- There is no Entry fee to participate in Make for India Competition.
- One winner among all finalists will be chosen and will be awarded an all paid space camp at Start City, Moscow, Russia.

Space Kidz India Competition for College Students Reward
- One winner among all finalists will be chosen and will be awarded all paid space camp at Start City, Moscow, Russia.
- Trophies will be awarded to all the Finalists.
- All the Participants will be awarded Certificates.
- For the Winner, Runners-up, prizes will be awarded in the name of the great Scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
- Industrial workshop in India will be awarded to all the 25 Finalists.
- Funding support for the most economically viable project.
Space Kidz India Competition for College Students Application form and Process
Participants have to register themselves online on the official website only. You can register to the Make for India 2016 by following the link below.

STEP 1: Participants have to enter their basic personal details correctly.
STEP 2: Participants then have to submit their College’s detail.
STEP 3:Participants have to select any one of the following categories according to their project:
- Aviation/Space
- Energy Efficient
- Water Resource Management
- Telecommunication
- Agriculture/Environment
- App Development
STEP 4: Finally participants have to submit their Project’s detail in the sections given including the text document of Project or Picture.
Make for India Submission Process:
STEP 1: Click on the Submit, A registration code will be generated.
STEP 2: Participants are advised to note down the registration code.
STEP 3: Space Kids India team will contact the participants through the contact details given by the participant.
Note: Last date of submission of the project is August 15,2016.
Space Kidz India Competition for College Students Selection Process
Selection for students will be based on the Creation, Innovation and the presentation of the project. Please note that the projects submitted must be technically useful to the people, Finalists will be validated by the panel of Professors from reputed Educational Institutions or Scientists .
- Top 100 projects will be chosen by the panel of judges.
- These 100 projects will be published on a Facebook page.
- Voting will be done as a second round of competition until for the "Top 25 Projects".
- The 25 Finalist will have to travel to Chennai to showcase their project, live,5 minutes time will be awarded to each student to make a presentation to the jury. Question answers will be conducted by the jury and a finalist will be chosen.
