About S.N. Bose Scholars Program
SNBose Scholars Program 2017 is organized by Science & Engineering Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology, Government of India together with Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW). SN Bose Scholarship is a student exchange program between premier institutions in India and the United States. This Scholarship is named after Satyendra Nath Bose (1894 - 1974), known to be an Indian physicist for his work on quantum mechanics across the globe.Through SN Bose Scholarship, Indian students are provided with an excellent opportunity to experience transformative and dynamic research facilities in top U.S Institutions. Students will have an exemplary experience by having a direct communication with the next generation pioneers and innovators in science and technology

S.N. Bose Scholars Program Reward
On availing the SN Bose Scholarship, students will be provided with an excellent opportunity to experience and can go through the research workouts in top U.S Institutions
- Students will be given the stipend of 2000 USD throughout the program, accommodation facilities and both side air-fare as well.

S.N. Bose Scholars Program Application form and Process
Candidates need to fill the S.N. Bose Application Form through Online Mode only. The Information to be filled in the Application form must be correct

Steps to fill the Application Form
Step 1: Sign in through the Online Application Portal for Visitation Programs. (Use the link given in the top right-hand corner of the webpage)
Step 2: Candidates have to verify their account by using the link sent to their registered email id.
Step 3: Login to the Online Portal with the registered Email Id.
Step 4: Click "Apply for – Start Application”
Step 5: Fill in the required details in the form,
Step 6: Candidates may preserve the entered information using the Save button given at the bottom of the form.
Step 7: Candidates may retrieve the saved information using their login credentials and submit the form upon completion.
Step 8: Candidates may download the PDF of their completed application after submission. All online applications will receive an automatic email verifying receipt of the application. The PDF format of the application can also be downloaded using the link sent to their registered email id after submission. Candidates are advised to note their Application ID for future references.
Supporting Documents to be sent along with the application form
- Mark Sheet: Latest Marks sheet
- Letter of recommendation: Two letters of recommendation from a faculty member, advisor or lab supervisor on their official letterhead
- NOC: No objection certificate from Parent Institution
- Passport: Scanned copy of first and last page of passport
Submission of S.N.Bose Application Form
S.N. Bose Application form along with the supporting documents must be scanned and sent in form of a single PDF document to mail Id bose@indousstf.org
S.N. Bose Scholars Program Selection Process
Entries received with all the supporting documents in correct format will be chosen further by the organizing body
