SIFPSA National Level Essay Writing Competition 2015

• State Innovations in Family Planning Services Project Agency (SIFPSA) is organizing its First National Level Essay Writing Competition.
• The SIFPSA National Level Essay Writing Competition is open for everyone from India. There is no restriction regarding age or any particular academic requirements.
• The entries for SIFPSA National Level Essay Writing Competition can be submitted either online or offline i.e. can be mailed to the given email ids or can be sent to the address by the means of Post.
• The Essay should not have more than 2000 words and it should be related to the following topics:
  • Innovative ideas to meet Family Planning Challenge in India.
  • Innovative ways of leveraging India’s demographic dividend in the 21st Century.
  • Comprehensive health care services: an indirect approach to family planning.

• The winners of First, Second & Third Prize will get Rs.50000, Rs.25000 and Rs.10000 respectively. Other than these there are three consolation prizes worth Rs.5000 each.

SIFPSA National Level Essay Writing Competition Rewards

Out of the entries received for the National Level Essay Writing Competition, total 6 winners will be selected, 3 best entries will get First, Second and Third prize while remaining three will be awarded with consolation prizes. The details of the prizes are as follow:

• First Prize: The writer of the essay selected for the first prize will get cash prize of Rs.50,000.
• Second Prize: The essay selected for the second prize will get cash prize worth Rs.25,000.
• Third Prize: The winner of the third prize will get Rs.10,000  as cash prize.
• Consolation Prize: The winner of the consolation prize will get Rs.5,000 and total 3 essays will be awarded with consolation prizes.

SIFPSA National Level Essay Writing Competition Application Process

In order to participate in the SIFPSA National Level Essay Writing Competition candidates are required to send the essays along with details of the candidate. The details of the application process are as follow:

• Specifications of the Essay: In order to participate in the National Level Essay Writing Competition the essay being submitted should be in accordance to the following guidelines:
  • Word Count: The Essay should not exceed 2000 words.
  • Language: The Essay can be in either Hindi or English.
  • Theme of the Essay: The essay should be related to one of the below mentioned themes:
    • Innovative ideas to meet Family Planning Challenge in India.
    • Innovative ways of leveraging India’s demographic dividend in the 21^st Century.
    • Comprehensive health care services: an indirect approach to family planning.
  • Size and Font: The essay should be typed in Times New Roman and its font size should be 12.

Submission of the Essay

The essays can be submitted by either means i.e. Online or Offline. The participants must mention their names, address, telephone number and email address on their application. The details of the submission process are as follow:

• Online submission: In case participants are willing to go for online application, the can send their essays via email to bkjain@sifpsa.org & chauhansavita@gmail.com.
• Offline Submission: The essays can be physically submitted to the below mentioned address:

SIFPSA National Level Essay Writing Competition Selection Process

• The selection of the winners will be done by SIFPSA on the basis of Relevance of the title, Innovative Idea, Practicality, feasibility, Structured and Compactness of the Idea and Conclusion.
• Result: The Result of the Competition will be declared on August 15, 2015 on SIFPSA website.
