About 4th Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship
4th Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship 2016 is being offered to young screen-writers to help them advance in their career through introductions to key entertainment industry leaders.
Screencraft has 3 Oscar-winning screenwriters as their mentors who will provide guidance to the winner of the Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship 2016.
The participation is open for individuals older than 18 years and those writers who have done well financially either in Film or TV are not eligible to apply for the Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship. The applicants can fill the application form online and submit their screenplays after registration and payment of entry fee.
The winner of the fellowship will get a stipend, a trip to Los Angeles, consultation and creative development with the ScreenCraft team and network of entertainment industry mentors along with meetings with reputed Hollywood professionals.

Details | Nationality: The applicant can be from any country. There is no restriction on the nationality of the participant. Age: The applicant needs to be at least 18 year old in order to make application for the Fellowship. Experience/Proficiency: Those writers who have earned more than $20,000 (or equivalent currency) from professional writing either in TV or Film are not eligible to apply for the fellowship. |
4th Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship Reward
The candidates selected for the Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship 2016 will be eligible for the following rewards:
Number of Fellowships: The fellowships will be offered to up to 4 candidates.
Stipend: Candidates will get stipend of USD 1000 (Approx. 65,000) and a $1000 Writing Grant.
Air Fare & lodging: The cost of round trip (max. 700 USD) will be paid and an addition to the candidate will get 2-night stay in the historic Culver Hotel, host to Hollywood legends from Judy Garland to Frank Sinatra!
Consultation: The winners will get to interact 1 on 1 ScreenCraft team and network of entertainment industry mentors.
Hollywood Meeting: The winners will meet with literary agents from top agencies such as WME, CAA, UTA, dinner with the jury including Academy Award-winning Screenwriters.
- Meetings at top production companies and studios including Universal, Paramount, Sony and Lionsgate.
Sponsor Prizes: Complimentary passes to Robert McKee’s legendary STORY seminar in Los Angeles, New York City or London along with Complimentary screenwriting software courtesy of Final Draft.
4th Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship Application form and Process
The application process for the Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship 2016 is online and in order to complete the application process and complete the submission, the candidates should visit the official website of Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship. The details of the application process are as follow:
Entry Form: The entry form for Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship are to be filled online and from the same page payment of the participation fee and submission of the screenplay will be done.

Number of Entries: Applicants can submit any number of entries but projects must be submitted separately with separate entry fee.
Entry Fee: In order to apply for the fellowship program, the applicant should submit entry fee. The amount of entry fee depends upon the deadlines. The entry fee is:
- Early Deadline: 39 USD (Approx. INR 2600).
- Late Deadline: 59 USD (Approx. INR 3600).
Guidelines for Screenplay: The screenplays to be submitted should be as per the following guidelines:
- Language: All the submitted work needs to be in English only.
- The Length of Screenplays: The screenplays to be submitted should be of the following maximum length:
- Feature Screenplays: Maximum 140 pages.
- Drama Television Pilots: Maximum 70 pages.
- Comedy Television Pilots: Maximum 40 pages.

4th Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship Selection Process
The entries of Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship 2015 will be selected by the panel of judges, who had been awarded Oscars, BAFTAS, WGA Awards, Golden Globes and many more. The mentors associated with Screencraft are:
- Geoffrey Fletcher: Academy Award-winning screenwriter of Precious and Violet & Daisy
- Diana Ossana: Academy Award-winning screenwriter of Brokeback Mountain
- Robert Moresco: Academy Award-winning screenwriter of Crash and producer of Million Dollar Baby.
- James V.Hart: Iconic screenwriter of such beloved films as Hook, directed by Steven Spielberg, Contact, directed by Robert Zemeckis and Bram Stoker's Dracula directed by Francis Ford Coppola, and many others
- Kristina Reed: Academy Award®-winning Producer of Disney’s Feast as well as Big Hero 6, Kung Fu Panda and studio executive on worldwide blockbuster Frozen.
