About Railway Minister Essay Writing Competition
Railway Minister Essay Writing Competition invites essay entries from the railway's employee all over India. There is two category of the competition i.e. gazetted and non-gazetted and top 2 participants will be selected in both categories for the cash prize and a certificate. The participant can submit their essay entry only via post till 22 February 2017.The participants who wish to participate in the Railway Minister Essay Writing Competition have to write their essay on any of the following topic given below:
- The role of the Social Media in Improvement of Railways working and its benefits to passengers/users.
- Digital India and Indian Railways
- Swachh Bharat and Swachh Rail

Railway Minister Essay Writing Competition Application form and Process
The candidates who want to participate in the Railway Minister Essay Writing Competition have to write an essay which should be written only in English, in double space and on one side of the paper. The essay should be written in a word limit of 2000 and failing which the entry will be disqualified.The participants have to submit their essay offline and there is no any application fee to participate in the competition.
The participants have to write the following information on a cover of the essay:
- Name of the applicant
- Designation of the participant
- Railway
- Category (gazetted or non-gazetted)
- The office address of the participant
- Phone number
Application Submission
The participants have to submit their essay by post. The participants have to submit their completed essay in an envelope and have to send it via the post on the address given below. The essay has to be submitted in triplicate.

Railway Minister Essay Writing Competition Selection Process
- A special committee appointed by the railway's board will examine the essays participated in the competition.
- The best 10% essays are selected by the board committee and thereafter the selected essays will be forwarded to the ministry of railways till 22 February 2017.
- Now the ministry of railways will examine all the selected essays and select top 2 essays for both categories (gazetted or non-gazetted).
