Odyssee Artist-In-Residency Program 2016

• Odyssee Artist-In-Residency Program 2016 is being organized by Association des Centres Culturels de Rencontre (ACCR) with the support of French Ministry of Culture and Communication.
• Culture Professionals, Researchers and Artists who are willing to develop projects within French Cultural Centers – Historic Monuments can make applications for the Artist-In-Residency Program.
• The proposed projects should be in line with the themes and focus of any of the French Cultural Centers (CCR).
  • The details related to the French Cultural Centers (CCR) are mentioned toward the end.
• The candidates whose project will be selected will be eligible to stay in Franc for a period of 1 to 6 months, stipend of 1200 Euros (Approx. INR 88,000) and reimbursement of certain part of Air Fare.
  • The selected candidates will be staying within the respective French Cultural Centers during their project.
• The applications and details of the project can be sent via mail or post to ACCR by November 07, 2015.

Odyssee Artist-In-Residency Program 2016 Rewards

The Artists, Researchers and Culture Professionals selected for the Odyssee Artist-In-Residency Program will be eligible to the following benefits:

• Duration: 1 to 6 months.
• Stipend: The projects accepted will get monthly stipend of 1200 Euros (Approx. INR 88,000).
• Air Fare: Thecost of candidate’s travel will be refunded up to a limit determined on the basis of the native country of the candidate.
• Accommodation: The selected candidates will be staying free of cost within the center that has accepted them.

Odyssee Artist-In-Residency Program 2016 Application Process

Interested individuals should make application for the residency program as per their interest and proposed project. The details of the application process are:

• Application Form: There is nospecificapplication for the form for the residency program. The interested candidates should send documents directly to French cultural centers or ACCR.
• Documents required: The candidates are required to submit the following documents in order to their application be considered for the Odyssee Artist-In-Residency Program:
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Details of the Personal project for the residency period, which should be in line with the global project of the French Cultural Center.
  • Cover Letter
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Copy of passport.
• Submission: Thecandidatesare required to complete the submission depending upon thenature of their project:

    • One copy of the project needs to be submitted to ACCR office as well.
  • For projects related to cultural management and networking fields: Theprojects from the field of cultural management and networking should be sent directly to ACCR on the below mentioned address either by email or post:

Odyssee Artist-In-Residency Program 2016 Selection Process

• The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their project and its relevance with the theme of their proposed French Cultural Centre.
• The decision related to the applications will be taken by Odyssée Commission in the month of January 2016, while applications will be answered by February 2016.
