About NTSN

NTSN 2016-17 (National Talent Search & Nurture) is a sports tournament of open participation by all schools i.e. Government, Private, Municipal or any other description and recognised by and associated with any Board in India. The program is also available to schools located overseas and associated with any Indian board. NTSN invites the talented teams of Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Athletics and Shooting which is conducted by (SSPF) School Sports Promotion Foundation in association with Sports Authority of India.

The Departments of Sports and School Education & Literacy, Government of India have supported the program and have advised all state secretaries of education, state boards, central boards, Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas to participate in
National Talent Search and Nurture.The last date for Registration and School Team Entry is October 30, 2016, Extended to Nov 25, 2016

NTSN Eligibility Criteria

Gender	Boys
Region	Indian Board Students from India and Overseas
Class/ Age	10 to 15 years - Football 10 to 16 years - Cricket
Details	For Schools: All the Schools across India private or government-affiliated are eligible to participate in the tournament. The schools can participate in games: Cricket, Football, Basketball, and Volleyball. The participation is applicable only for boys. For Students Only genuine students of age 10 to 15 years can participate through their respective school teams. No individual registrations are allowed. For School Officials Physical Education Teachers and Coaches on the rolls of a school are eligible to apply. For Other Officials Umpires, Referees, Match officials, Sportspersons at the State, National and International levels, Sports medicine practitioners and Sports psychologists can file their nominations online.

NTSN Reward

All the participants and Officials will get a certificate for their active participation.
Outstanding players and teams will get the merit certificate for their outstanding performances.
Winning teams after the qualifying match at each level i.e District, State, and National will be liable for the given below benefits:
- Accommodation
- Rich and Balanced Diet
- Eminent Coaches
- Sports Medicine Supports
- Physical Instructor
- Physiotherapist

Participants selected for the national teams will be awarded 100% scholarships for their studies in the best boarding schools along with the designation of "Centre of Excellence" for their respective sports.
- Students in this ‘Centre of Excellence’ shall also receive the international level of sports coaching for the remaining years of his school education.
National level team players would also get the opportunities to play outside the country at international tournaments.

NTSN Application form and Process

Participants can not apply individually or as a team in NTSN Tournament, however, Their respective schools have to apply for the registration (only school teams). The procedure for Registration and filling online form is given below. There will be only online mode of registration for the students and officials.

NTSN Selection Process

The candidates will be selected by the SSPF according to the prescribed criteria governed by Sports Authority of India.

The selected aspirants for NTSN shall be notified through the message and email id.
User Name and Password shall be generated & provided to the selected aspirants.
By using username and password aspirants will be able to login into the official website of SSPF. The users will reach their dashboard and perform the duties as assigned.
