About NSEJS 2019
NSEJS by IAPT, Indian Association of Physics Teachers is a name known across the country for organizing Olympiads and this time has come up with an opportunity for students of class up to 10 as National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS). NSEJS 2019, National Standard Examination in Junior Science is a qualifying step for students to take part in the following stages of the International Junior Science Olympiad.

- In NSEJS, Multiple Choice Questions would be asked, emphasizing the comprehension of the Science subject considering Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
- As a gateway to the second stage of International Junior Science Olympiad -IJSO 2019 i.e. Indian National Junior Science Olympiad (INJSO), this exam will lead the school students to become a part of the internationally recognized competition.
NSEJS Examination Date: 17 November 2019, between 10 AM and 12 Noon
Students who are applying for NSEJS can also apply for ANTHE Scholarship exam for class 8-10 students. The scholarships would be given based on the exam that will be conducted on 28 October. More than 3 Lac students applied for the scholarship exam last year.
NSEJS Result 2019 Declared
NSEJS 2019 Level 1 Exam was conducted on 17 November 2019. The NSEJS Result, cut off marks, and answer key has been published by IAPT after a few weeks of the commencement of NSEJS exam. The link to download the NSEJS Result will be provided on this page. The result for NSEJS Exam is has been declared. Before the NSEJS Result, the candidates will be able to download the NSEJS Answer Key and can calculate their marks by comparing the answer key with the NSEJS Papers.

NSEJS answer key has been released by Allen career institute right after the exam. Students check the answer key and tally the answer. IAPT will also release the answer key in some time.

NSEJS 2019 Reward
- Students qualifying NSEJS conducted by IAPT will be eligible for stage 2 of the selection process named the Indian National Junior Science Olympiad or INJSO exam, a qualifying stage for the International Junior Science Olympiad.
- INJSO exam will be conducted in February 2020.
NSEJS 2019 Application form and Process
Students have to enrol for NSEJS at the nearest centre registered for the NSEJS Exam. The detailed list of the test centres along with the phone numbers are given below.

NSEJS Admit Card will be available to download for the candidates to appear in the examination scheduled to be conducted on 17 November 2019. The dates for the same will be notified later.

NSEJS 2019 Selection Process
NSEJS exam will be conducted in around 800 centres across India on 17 November 2019 between 10 AM and 12 AM. The selection criteria depend upon the evaluation of marks attained by the participants in the NSEJS Exam. The NSEJS Syllabus is broadly the same as the CBSE syllabus up to class 10 and thus, provides participating students to broaden the horizon of their knowledge. NSEJS Result 2019 will be declared shortly after the exam. Candidates can check their roll number and total marks obtained here.

NSEJS Syllabus
The syllabus for NSEJS is broadly equivalent to the syllabus of secondary level Class 10 of CBSE. There are different basic subjects of Science i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math which may have roughly equal emphasis. Only the basic guideline for the course is mentioned as there is no specific syllabus is prescribed for NSEJS.

The interested candidates can prepare from the NCERT books as well for their NSEJS Exam preparation.
International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO)

About: International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is a yearly major Olympiad which covers physics, chemistry and biology at the same time. It is the final stage of Junior Science Olympiad where the selected students from National Level Olympiad across the globe compete against each other. A team of 6 students along with two leaders from each nation participate in IJSO.
From National to International: Students first appear in National Search Examination in Science. Later, the qualified students appear in India National Junior Science Olympiad (INO). Further, the selected students are invited for Orientation Cum Selection Camps from where the final six candidates are selected who represent India at International Level in International Junior Science Olympiad.
Achievements: In the 14th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) which was held in the Netherlands from 3 to 12 December 2017, Indian students bagged four gold and two silver medals.
