The candidates can apply Online only for NEST Scholarship 2020 by 30 September without late fee. National wide Education and Scholarship Test is commonly known as NEST is specially designed for students' choice, skills, and interest and is essential at this stage of their education. NEST provides a scholarship for bonafide students of science, engineering, and medical courses on the basis of the merit only. This is the 24th Edition of NEST Senior Scholarship.  NEST Scholarship is provided under two section, NEST Junior and NEST Senior. • There are two groups in NEST Senior Scholarship which are NEST-1 and NEST-2. 
• The candidates can either apply for NEST-1 or NEST-2.
• Further, NEST-1 has two groups, viz. Biology and Mathematics and NEST-2 has four groups of disciplines(A/B/C/D).

The prize money for the Rank 1 Holders has been revised last year. The prize details to be distributed to the NEST 1 and NEST 2 rank holders are given below:

• NEST 1: 10 or more scholarships of Rs. 30,000 each with Rs.75,000 to the first rank holder in the category.
• NEST 2: 10 or more scholarships of Rs. 40,000 each with Rs. 1,00,000 to the first rank holder in the category.

Application Fee for NEST Scholarship 2019 

The candidates can pay Online as well as offline for 21st NEST Scholarship 2019. Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card facilities are available under Online payment. Whereas for offline mode of payment, the candidates have to make a DD of the required amount (Participation Fees + Late Fees- if any). The DD has to be made in favour of SEMCI India payable at Mumbai. Participation Fees: Without late fee

• NEST 1: Rs. 650
• NEST 2: Rs. 750

• To get the Unsolved Question Papers of NEST of last 6 years in hard copy the student has to add Rs. 300 extra in the DD Amount.
  • Soft copy of the unsolved question paper book is absolutely free for all registered candidates.

NEST Exam Centre 2019

NEST Exam will be conducted in 63 major cities in India. They are given in the table below:

• The students would be selected on the basis of online test
• The test will be held in January 2021
