Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga Scholarship & Fellowship for D.Y.Sc.

• Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) invites applications for its Diploma in Yoga Sciences course and is also offering Scholarships for meritorious students seeking admission in the course.
• There are total 13 scholarships and 4 fellowships, the fellowships will be offered to 2 students from Andaman & Nicobar island and 2 students from North-Eastern India while the distribution of the scholarship will be as follow:

• The students selected for the scholarship will get monthly stipend of Rs. 3000 per month while the students selected for the fellowship will get monthly stipend or Rs.8000 per month.
• The application form is available online and the last date to make application is August 14, 2015.

Scholarship & Fellowship for D. Y. Sc. at MDNIY Rewards

The scholarships and fellowship will be available to the students making applications for the Diploma in Yoga Sciences. The scholarship and fellowship will have the following benefits:

• Scholarship: The candidates selected for the award of the scholarship will get monthly stipend of Rs.3000 per month.
• Fellowship: The selected candidates from North-East will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 8000 per month.

Scholarship & Fellowship for D. Y. Sc. at MDNIY Application Process

The candidates willing to apply for the scholarship should apply for the Diploma in Yoga Science and the scholarship will be awarded to the candidates successful in getting admission in the Diploma Program. The details of the application process are as follow:

• Mode of Application: The applications for the admission to the Diploma in Yoga Science are to be made offline but the form can be downloaded from their website. >> Click here to download the Application Form.
• Attachments: The applications for the Diploma in Yoga Sciences is to be accompanied by the following documents:
  • Date of Birth Certificate: Candidates should submit their duly attested date of birth certificate for the purpose of age verification.
  • Educational Certificates: Attested copies of mark-sheets of qualifying examination are to be attached along with the application form.

Scholarship & Fellowship for D. Y. Sc. at MDNIY Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the following criteria:

• For Fellowship: Thefellowship will be offered to 4 candidates belonging to North-Eastern States (2 Fellowships) and Andaman & Nicobar Islands (2 Fellowships) on the basis of Academic performance.
• For Scholarship: Thescholarships will be offered to students on the basis of their performance in the First Semester examination. The category wise distribution of the scholarship is as follow:
  • General Candidates: 7 Scholarships
  • OBC Candidates : 3Scholarships
  • SC Candidates: 2 Scholarships
  • ST Candidates: 1 Scholarship.
