Lingnan University Scholarship 2018 for Non-local Applicants

Lingnan University Scholarship is provided to those non-local applicants who are interested in pursuing the undergraduate courses offered by the Lingnan University. Lingnan University aims to provide the education to the students in the liberal arts tradition. The applicants who get enrolled in undergraduate programmes in Lingnan University only can avail the Lingnan Scholarship facility. Lingnan offers various scholarships to support high meritorious non-local students to pursue full-time undergraduate studies at the University. 

Lingnan University Scholarship 2018 Dates

Lingnan University offers the scholarship reward to the non-local applicants in three modes listed below. The applicants will be liable to receive the scholarship scheme on the basis of their performances and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

• Full Scholarship (covering tuition, hostel, and partial academic and living expenses)
• Tuition Scholarship
• Half-tuition Scholarship

Each Scholarship is offered on an annually renewable basis and is tenable for a period of up to the normative duration of the study, subject to continued outstanding academic performance.

Courses offered by Lingnan University

The Lingnan University offered various undergraduate courses for the different faculty which is Arts, Business, and Social Science. The applicants need to apply for any of the undergraduate study programmes to be eligible for the Lingnan University Scholarship.

The non-local applicants who are interested in pursuing the undergraduate courses need to apply for the study programmes through online mode only. The applicants who have registered themselves for the undergraduate programmes will be eligible for the Lingnan University Scholarship.

• STEP 1: The applicants need to create an online application account by registering themselves on the official website of the Lingnan University.
• STEP 2: The applicants need to fill the Name and other personal information, after that the applicants will be able to fill the application form.
• STEP 3: The applicants need to fill all the section of the application form which is mentioned below.

• STEP 4: After filling all the section of the application form which is mentioned above, the applicants need to pay the application fee and need to submit the application form.

Documents to be enclosed along with Lingnan University Application Form

• The candidates are advised not to send the supporting documents to the University again if they have been submitted via the System.
• The candidates can also upload their reference letters/employment certificates provided by the academic referee/school principal or employer in this section.
• If the supporting documents are not in English/Chinese, then the candidates should submit officially translated copies of the documents certified by the issuing institutions/relevant authorities, together with photocopies of the documents.

Submission of the Lingnan University Application Fee

Lingnan University Scholarship Application form is to be submitted in Online mode only. Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form before the final submission because once the application has been processed then the candidates will not be able to do any changes. The candidates need to indicate the preferences of the first choice of the study programme in the first application. Candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference.

Lingnan University Application Fee

The Lingnan University Application Fee for the non-local applicants is given in the table below. The amount of the late application fee is also given in the table. Applicants can pay the application fee at the time of submission of the application form via any Master or Visa card.

Lingnan University Course Fee Structure

The Lingnan University offered the wide ranges of undergraduate study programmes from which the candidates need to apply for the admission. The Lingnan University Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have a good scholastic position and good achievements in support services.

• For the candidates of comparable academic merits, preference will be given to the candidate with better-proven records of community services.
• Candidates who apply for and do not get the Scholarship can still be considered for admission on the fee-paying basis.

The shortlisted candidates will be informed on or before 20 July 2018. The result for the scholarship will be revealed at the time of the admissions, To avail the scholarship applicants will have to pay the required admission fee within the stipulated time.
