Jharkhand State Post Matric Scholarship 2020-21 is the scheme where the scholarships are awarded to the meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of SC, ST and OBC community. It helps in providing them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability. The scholarship is given by the Welfare Department. Govt. of Jharkhand. The EKalyan Scholarship is open to students who are studying within the state or have gone to other states for pursuing higher studies.

E Kalyan Scholarship 2020-21 Dates

EKalyan Student Login

The candidates have to do the one-time registration on the eKalyan Portal by filling up an application form. The students whose application is pending for reasons other than stated above cannot edit their application.

The candidates need to visit the official website of the eKalyan and then click on the "Register Now" button to register themselves. The candidates do have the options of Student Login/ Email Login/ Mobile Login.

Scholarships Offered: Students are advised to give their Adhaar link bank account, Disbursement of the scholarship will be made in favour of the same bank account.

E Kalyan Scholarship Renewal

The students who have received the Jharkhand e-Kalyan Scholarship and had to renew the scholarship have to apply for the fresh application to get their scholarship renewed. The scholarship will not be automatically renewed for the students.

The student can only apply online for the scholarship. There is no offline application process. Follow the link given below to apply. The stepwise instructions to fill the e-Kalyan Jharkhand State Post-matric scholarship is given below.

The candidates are suggested to go through the instructions to fill the application form for the scholarship as it will help them to ignore the mistakes while filling the application form.

• STEP 1:  Applicants have to register themselves on the eKalyan portal using their basic details and a valid email/Phone number.

• STEP 2: Applicants will now receive the user ID and Password for future logins. After successful login, applicants will have to fill the application form carefully and upload their scanned copies of the documents given below.
  

• STEP 3: After uploading, the documents in the required format applicants have to save the information furnished by them.
• STEP 4: Finally applicants have to take the printout of the application by clicking on the print button. After taking a printout, applicants have to sign in the documents. 

Students advised giving their AADHAR linked bank account numbers while applying. Candidates are suggested to fill in the bank details carefully as the scholarship amount will be transferred to the bank account provided by the candidates. 

If the candidates entered the bank details incorrectly, then the welfare department, Govt. of Jharkhand will not be responsible for this.

Documents to be uploaded with e Kalyan Application Form

All the documents given below are required to be uploaded in Jharkhand Post Matric Scholarship must be in JPEG/JPG format with a maximum size of 150 KB.

• Scan Copy of original Residential Certificate
• Scan Copy of original Caste Certificate
• Scan Copy of original Income Certificate
• Scan Copy of original Bonafide Certificate
• Copy of Mark sheet of the last examination (self-attested)
• Coloured Scanned copy of the Printout of the slip generated after application which is to be duly signed by the candidate.
• Page of the students' passbook featuring Account Number and IFSC Code 

Upload online issued certificates like Caste, Residential and Income into the e-kalyan portal.
(The validity of the Income Certificate should be from 1 April 2020)

You do not need to send a hard copy to the TWC office. Kindly upload all document online.

The last date to apply for e Kalyan Jharkhand State Post Matric Scholarship is 10 February 2021. The Disbursement of the scholarship will be done after verification.

Editing Application: Post Matric (Within State & Outside the State) - Edit Application / Upload Document services are available (Only Application kept Pending by DA) in student login

State Government/ Union Territory Administration concerned or their designated agencies disburse the maintenance allowance to the student’s bank accounts, and admission and course/ tuition fee to the bank account of School/ College/ University/ Institute concerned.

E Kalyan Post Matric Scholarship will be rejected if:

1. If the applicant is not a bonafide student.
2. Incorrect Caste Certificate, Income Certificate.
3. Non Upload of caste, Income certificate.
4. Incorrect course and year of study.
5. If Student has not uploaded all documents like Student Photo, Bonafide Certificate, Caste Certificate, Residence Certificate, Income Certificate, Student Previous Marks Sheet, Bank Pass Book Scanned copy, Scanned copy of Online System generated application.
6. Non Upload of Scanned copy of Online System generated application duly filled and signed with concern person.
