Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship for Masters Degree Course 2018

Japanese Government Invites applications for Young Leader’s Program for a year program of Business Administration at Hitotsubashi University, Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy located in Tokyo, Japan. For the candidates to be eligible for the Japanese Government Scholarship for Masters Degree Course ,a student should have a graduation degree with excellent academic record along with a GMAT Score of 600. The candidates also need 3 years of working experience in an organisation which is a member of CII or FICCI. The candidates selected for the scholarship will be exempted from Entrance Examination Fee, Matriculation Fee and Tuition Fee in addition to it a monthly allowance of approx. 1.59 lakh INR will be offered to the selected candidates.

If students are not selected in any of the Scholarship programs but are interested in the one year Masters then they can also come as a company-sponsored student or as a self-funded candidate.

The candidates selected for the award of the scholarship will be waived of from the institutional fees. Complete details related to the Scholarship benefits are:

• The Number of scholarships: Out of the applications received, 6 candidates will be selected for the award of the scholarship.
• Duration of the Fellowship: The scholarship will be offered for a period of 12 months i.e. September 2017 to August 2018.
• Offered Institution: The applicant will get Masters degree from Hitotsubashi University, Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy.
• Monthly Grant: The candidates will get a monthly allowance of 242,000 yen approx. Rs.159,000 INR during the fellowship.
• Travel Expenses: The selected fellow will get an economy class air ticket from the international airport nearest to the student’s home town to Narita International Airport and back after the completion of studies.
• School Fee: The candidates selected will be exempted from Entrance examination, Matriculation and Tuition Fee.
• Accommodation: The candidates selected for the scholarship may be offered accommodation by Hitotsubashi University.

Application for Business Administration: Application for Business Administration should be submitted to:

• CII (Confederation of Indian Industry).
• FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry)

In this type of scholarship, scholarship recipients are recruited and initially screened by a Japanese embassy (or consulate general, depending on the country).
