About ISKO
ISKO, International Sports Knowledge Olympiad is the single level Olympiad exam conducted by SOF also known as Science Olympiad Foundation. The last date to apply for ISKO is August 31, 2016 (tentative). SOF is helping and preparing students for the competitive run in the path of career so that they can understand their Potential and aptitude.
- ISKO Exam will be conducted on the two dates i.e. September 15 and October 4, 2016.
SOF is a Not for Profit Foundation and organising Olympiads throughout the year in order to promote a worldwide development of scientific temperament among the students. Every year Science Olympiad Foundation organises the following given four Olympiads:
- National Cyber Olympiad (NCO)
- National Science Olympiad (NSO)
- International English Olympiad (IEO)
- International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO)
However, from 2016 onwards, SFO has introduced two new Olympiad Programmes -
- International Company Secretaries Olympiad (ICSO)
- International Sports Knowledge Olympiad (ISKO)
ISKO, International Sports Knowledge Olympiad
ISKO Exam will test the knowledge of students from class 1st to 10th on sports knowledge including sports personalities, Olympics, indoor outdoor games etc.
- SOF will be awarding scholarships, gifts, and felicitations worth 14 crores in all of its scholarships for the session of 2016-17.
- Toppers at the international level will be provided with Rs 50,000 cash along with medal and certifications.

Each participating student of SOF will get
- A Participation Certificate
- Student Performance Report (SPR): The Student Performance Report will help the students to understand how they did in the Olympiad. The Performance Report gives a topic by topic detailed Analysis along with the correct answer of every question. The state and international Percentile score is also provided along with the Topic Wise score and performance of the student.
ISKO Application form and Process
Registration of the Students: The prospectus of the SFO ISKO is sent to all the schools registered with the SFO. Schools which are not registered can also ask for the prospectus by emailing SFO.
Roll Numbers: The SOF will create the Roll Numbers of the students and will hand over the Roll Number Slips to the Schools.
Submission: After completing the Registration forms, the schools need to send it to SFO by August 31, 2016.
ISKO 2016 Registration Fees
- A participation fee of Rs.120 is charged from each student. The School would retain Rs.20 per student per Olympiad for its expenses as exam centre.
- Mode of payment of Fees- The school can make the payment via Demand Draft or through NEFT/ RTGS
- Demand Draft : It should be made in favour of Science Olympiad Foundation payable at New Delhi

ISKO Selection Process
- ISKO is a single level Exam.
- ISKO is a written Exam which comprises of Objective type multiple choice questions.
- ISKO comprises of 35 questions (for class 1 to 4) and 50 Questions for class (5 to 10) the time limit for the exam is 60 minutes.
- The exam will be conducted in English language and there are separate question papers for each class.
- All the applicants will be selected on the basis of their merit and marks obtained in the written exam.
ISKO Ranking Criteria
- Marks obtained in the exam.
- If there is a tie between two or more students who have been accorded the same score, the ranking will be determined on the basis of the marks awarded in the highly prioritised sections. If those students score the same marks in the sections too, then they will be given the same rank.
- If there is any confusion, the Academic Council will take the final decision.
