IPTSE 2021 - Check IPTSE Exam Date, Registration, Mock Test, Result

IPTSE 2021: Intellectual Property Talent Search Examination by ASSOCHAM & ERICSSON is a competitive exam cum awards with an objective to create awareness among youth about the importance of Intellectual Property Rights (Patents, Trade Marks, copyrights etc.). IPTSE Exam aims to identify potential young talent in the realm of Intellectual Property like Patent, Copyright, Trademark & Design. This initiative has the same objectives as of National IPR Policy, released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India.  The last date to register for IPTSE Exam is 15 February 2021. Students studying in Class 9, 10, 11, 12 and Undergraduate Course are eligible to apply for IPTSE 2021. There will be a separate registration process for School and College students. The link to IPTSE Registration is given below on this page. IPTSE Exam 2021 will be conducted from 1 March - 20 March 2021. Students can appear for examination anytime during the window. Students of Class 10 can also participate in the National Talent Search Exam that is conducted by NCERT.

IPTSE 2021 Dates

Students willing to apply for the exam can check the IPTSE 2021 Dates in the table given below:

IPTSE result will be declared in April 2021. There will be 3 different categories of winners that will be awarded. Each of these categories will have different levels of winners - Regional and National Level. The details of winners and rewards are given below:

1. School Students – Regional and National Level
2. College Students - Regional and National Level

Note School students at school Level competition only when a number of participants minimum 100 from a school.

• Winners can also get a golden opportunity to visit the R&D centre in India and abroad

• Step 1 - Go through the IPTSE Application Form Link
• Step 2 - Choose your category for IPTSE Registration and click on "Register"
• Step 3:  Unique ID and Password will be generated for each student
• Step 4 - Fill in the basic details, educational details and click on "Register" to complete the registration process.

IPTSE Registration Fee

• IPTSE Registration fee of Rs. 250 each student.

IPTSE Notification Released by AICTE

The question bank has been divided into 3 levels of difficulty and will have relevant weightage. The exam will be divided into 4 sections and will have minimum qualification criteria.

The selection of winners will be done on the basis of Max marks obtained + Difficulty levels attained + Time spent per question(if needed to break-ties).

IPTSE Winners Selection for School &School Students

The first selection will be for the National Level Champion, Second Selection will be for Regional Level

The top 3 winners will be selected at the national level and regional level

Exam Duration for School Students: 45 minutes

Exam Duration for College students: 60 minutes

IPTSE Mock Test 2021

IPTSE Mock Test is available from 10 February 2021. Students who want to take IPTSE exam are advised to solve the IPTSE mock test paper. The link to IPTSE Mock Test 2021 will be available on this page as soon as it releases. As IPTSE exam is an online exam, students must solve the mock test to get familiar with the online IPTSE exam 2021. 

IPTSE Result 2021

IPTSE Result 2021 will be declared in April 2021. The result will be declared separately for School Students and College Students. Candidates who appear for the online examination can check their IPTSE Result 2021 on this page. It is also expected that the Candidate may be able to check their result online with their login details.
