About IOCL Gyanodaya Scholarship 2017-18
IOCL Gyanodaya Scholarship 2017-18 for ITI, Polytechnic Students scheme is being offered by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) for the academic session 2017-18. This scholarship is for students who are from economically backward family and are pursuing 2-years regular course in government ITIs or 3 years regular polytechnic programs from government polytechnic institutions.
This scheme is part of the CSR activity of the IOCL. This scheme also intends to promote the skill India Mission launched by Govt. of India.

The applicant will be selected for the IOCL Gyanodaya Scholarship 2017-18 will be provided Rs 1,000 per month until the end of his/her course. The desired student have to fill the application in the required format. The students desirous of applying for the scholarship should contact the concerned refinery.
Latest News on the Scholarship
The scholarship scheme has been inaugurated in October 2017 in many states. The Guwahati refinery handed over the selection letter to the 100 students.

IOCL Gyanodaya Scholarship 2017-18 Reward
The student selected for the IOCL Gyanodaya Scholarship 2017-18 will be provided scholarship amount Rs 1,000 per month till the end of his/her course.
Disbursement of scholarship
The scholarship of Rs 1,000 per month under this scheme will be directly deposited in the respective bank accounts of the eligible students after successful completion of the semester.
IOCL Gyanodaya Scholarship 2017-18 Application form and Process
The candidates desired to be selected for the IOCL Gyanodaya Scholarship 2017-18 will have to first submit an application form. The application process for few IOCL Refinery has already started, whereas the application process in others has not started yet.
The students should contact the concerned refinery or the college authorities for more information.

IOCL Gyanodaya Scholarship 2017-18 Selection Process
- The conducting body Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will have responsibilities to select the deserving candidates for the scholarship.
- The candidates will be selected for IOCL Gyanodaya Scholarship on a merit-cum-means basis for the academic year 2017-18.
- Short-listing Criteria: The head of respecting institution (where the applicants are currently studying) have to short-list the students based on the criteria laid down by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
- Top students from the participating ITIs and Polytechnics institute will be selected by IOCL on merit-cum-means basis.
