ICSO Olympiad for Class 11 and 12 - ICSO Exam Date, Sample Paper, Syllabus

ICSO Olympiad (International Company Secretaries Olympiad) is being organised by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) in collaboration with The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. The candidates from class 11 and 12 are only eligible to apply for International Company Secretaries Olympiad. It is single level SOF Olympiad. The candidates from any stream can apply for International Company Secretaries Olympiad 2018. ICSO is introduced in 2016 by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). It is introduced so that the students on the brink of choosing a career can understand their aptitude and potential. This page gives the complete information about the ICSO 2018.

International Company Secretaries Olympiad (ICSO) 2018

• Students in Class 11 and 12, i.e. the higher secondary students, are eligible to sit for the Olympiad. The student from any stream can apply for the ICSO Olympiad.
• ICSO Awards- The toppers of the Olympiad Programme are provided with Cash Prize, Medals, and Merit Certificate.
• SPR- Every participating student of the SFO is eligible to get a Student Performance Report (SPR) which will help them to analyse their performance in the Olympiad.
• ICSO is being organised by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) in partnership with The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Science Olympiad Foundation will spend over Rs 16 crores on awards, scholarships, gifts, and felicitations. The award distribution would be done as given in the table below. The award will be granted as per the rank received by the participants.

ICSO Olympiad Award Distributions 2018

 For each Participating Student:

• A Participation Certificate
• Student Performance Report (SPR): The Student Performance Report will help the students to understand how they did in the ICSO Olympiad.
• The Performance Report gives a topic by topic detailed Analysis along with the correct answer to every question. The state and international Percentile score are also provided along with the Topic Wise score and performance of the student.

• A participation fee of Rs.125 is charged from each student. The School would retain Rs.25 per student per ICSO Olympiad for its expenses as exam centre.

• ICSO Olympiad is a single level Exam.
• ICSO 2018 is a written Exam which comprises of Objective Type questions, chiefly MCQs.
• ICSO comprises of 50 questions and the time limit for the exam is 60 minutes.
• The exam will be conducted in English Language and there are separate question papers for each class.

 ICSO 2018 Exam Pattern

ICSO Criteria for ranking is as follows

• The obtained marks in the exam.
• If there is a tie between two or more students who have been accorded the same score, the ranking will be determined on the basis of the marks awarded in the highly prioritised sections. If those students score the same marks in the sections too, then they will be given the same rank.
• If there is any confusion, the Academic Council will take the final decision.

ICSO Sample Paper

The International Company Secretary Olympiad Sample Papers are designed by the experts to make students familiar with the exam pattern, exam structure, syllabus, topics and the marking scheme. ICSO Sample Papers will help the students to make a smart strategy for the preparation of the ICSO exam. The ICSO sample papers can be easily downloaded by the candidates. The candidates just need to click on the link to download button and view or download the ICSO 2018 Sample papers. By the help of ICSO Sample Papers, the students can able to manage their timings as well by doing regular practice. By practising with the sample papers, they will be able to finish the exam on time.

ICSO Answer Key

ICSO Answer Keys can be checked by the candidates after the commencement of the ICSO 2018 exam. The ICSO Answer Key will help the students by calculating their probable score before the announcement of the ICSO Result. They can calculate their marks by comparing their marked answers with right answers marked in the ICSO Answer Key. The candidates who will appear in the ICSO exam conducted by SOF will be able to check the answer keys and tally their marks to judge their performance.

ICSO Result

The ICSO Results is declared within 8 weeks of the commencement of the ICSO exam. The ICSO Results will be sent to the concerned schools. The ICSO Results will also be available on the official website of SOF. The students who will appear in the ICSO 2018 will be able to check and download their ICSO Results by entering their Roll number, Class Number, School Code, in a prescribed format. Top 5% class wise students who will qualify the ICSO Level-1 exam will be qualified for the ICSO level-2 exam. The ICSO results for the 2^nd level will also be published on the official website of SOF.
