• Indian Oil invites application form Postgraduate Engineering candidates for Indian Oil - Simon Fraser University (SFU) Canada Fellowship.
• The Indian Oil - Simon Fraser Canada Fellowship will let the selected candidate undergo 12 months initial course and research at Simon Fraser University, Canada and 3 years Ph.D. Research in India.
• The Fellowship is for students who are having post-graduation in Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering and are willing to go for research in field of:
  • Natural Gas,
  • Hydrogen,

• The candidates selected for Indian Oil - Simon Fraser University (SFU) Canada Fellowship will get a monthly stipend of CAD 13000 (Approx. 1 Lakh INR) while their stay in Canada.

Indian Oil - Simon Fraser University (SFU) Canada Fellowship is being offered to students who are willing to pursue research in the field of Clean Energy, Hydrogen, Fuel Cell Technology, Natural Gas and Advanced Materials. The details related to the number of Scholarships, Benefits of the scholarship are as follow:

• Number of Awards: The Scholarship will be offered to 2 candidates meeting the eligibility criteria.
• Duration of Fellowship: The candidates will undertake 12 months research work & initial course at Simon Fraser University followed by 3 years of Ph.D. research in India.
• Benefits of Fellowship: The candidates selected for the fellowship will enjoy the following benefits:
  • Tuition Fee: Thefellowship will cover 100% fee for all the four years of the Ph.D. degree.
  • Monthly Stipend: During their stay in Canada, Students will get a monthly stipend of CAD 13000 (Approx. 1 Lakh INR) in order to cover their living expenses.
  • During the stay in India: While their stay in India Candidates will get fellowship amount which will be 25% more than the prevailing rates under CSIR Research fellowship & HRA will be paid @ 30%  of the fellowship amount.
  • Expenses on the part of Fellow: Theselected fellows need to bear their expenses related to Passport, Visa, overseas insurance and all such expenses including travel expenses.
