Independence Day Stamp Design Competition 2016

Independence Day Stamp Design Competition 2016 is based on the theme “ Tourism in India”. The participants will have to make an Original stamp design on the theme. The winners will be awarded cash prizes and their designs will also be considered for use on stamps and other philatelic material.

The stamp design of all the participants should be sent through Speed Post before the deadline i.e. May 31, 2016.

The prize-winning designs will be considered for use on stamps and other philatelic material. The prize money will be as follows:-

The stamp designs of all the participants must be sent by speed post before May 31, 2016. An undertaking stating that ‘The artwork submitted is original and no copyright issues are involved’ should be sent along with the entry.

Guidelines for Stamp Design

The design submitted by the participants should be such that can be depicted on the stamps in a visually appealing manner so as to be of interest to philatelic collectors.

The participants are free to use drawing paper, art paper or any other type of white paper of A4 size.

• The participants must use ink, watercolour, oil color or any other medium. 
  • The candidate must note that computer printed/print will not be considered. 

The following mandatory fields should be written legibly by the participants on the reverse side of the design sheet

• Name of the participant
• Age
• Gender
• Nationality
• Full and complete residential address with Pin Code
• Phone/Mobile Number
• Email ID (if available)

Submission of the Stamp Design

All the stamp design along with an undertaking stating that ‘The artwork submitted is original and no copyright issues are involved’ should be sent by May 31, 2016, to the following address.
