• Ehsaas Poetry Writing Competition 2015 is for the one’s who have a passion of writing Narrative Poetry, who can tell an entire story in the mesmerizing rhyming verses of a poetry.
• The Poems can be in Hindi or English languages of maximum 20 lines.

• The Poetry Competition will be judged by Javed Siddiqui

An Urdu and Hindi screenwriter, dialogue writer and playwright from India, he has written over 50 story lines, screenplays and dialogues.
Starting his career, as a dialogue writer in Satyajit Ray's Shatranj Ke Khiladi in 1977, he went on associating his name and pen with many Bollywood Classics like Umrao Jaan,  Mammo, Fiza, Zubeidaa and Tehzeeb; as well as commercial hits, such as Baazigar,  Darr, Yeh Dillagi, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Raja Hindustani, Pardes, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke and Koi Mil Gaya.
Being a Filmfare Award winner for the Best Screenplay and Best dialogue categories, Javed  had always had a special corner for the Amateur Writers.

Ehsaas Poetry Writing Competition Application Procedure

• Candidates have to register themselves on the official website for submitting their entries.
• There is no limit to the number of entries from an individual, but you should not submit the same entry again.
• The entry is FREE for this contest

Specifications of the Poem

• Candidates have to upload the poem that has minimum 10 lines
• Choose any genre viz. fictional, non-fictional, thriller, comic, city life, historic etc. There is no restriction on any particular theme/subject/category.
• Entries should only be in English or Hindi language.
• Entries must be submitted in MS Word format

NOTE

• No CD’s will be accepted
• The entrant must be the sole creator of their entry and must also own the copyrights and reproduction rights

Ehsaas Poetry Writing Competition Selection Procedure

• The Winners will be selected by the Panel of Judges appointed by the orgainsing team.
• The decision of the judges will be final and is not subject to any form of questions/queries/clarifications.
• The  winners of the contest will be notified at the email address which they specify during registration.
