About DRDO Robotics Competition (DRUSE)
DRDO Robotics Competition (DRUSE) 2017 is organized to give an open platform to simplify and collaborate the national talent in the areas of robotics among students for the conception, design and development of unmanned systems for defence applications. DRDO Robotics and Unmanned systems Exposition (DRUSE) is planned with a various theme which is based on technological challenges to ease participation from various talented categories. On this page, the details about the DRDO Robotics Competition (DRUSE) 2017 is given. The candidates can find all the details such as eligibility, application process, selection etc. This competition is for the Engineering students currently pursuing UG or PG level.
The exposition is aimed to harness the technologies in nascent, under development or developed from available nationwide with candidates. The registration fee for the DRDO Robotics and Unmanned systems Exposition (DRUSE) is Rs. 500 per team. And every team should be of min. 3 members and max. 5 members including the team leader.
Objectives of DRDO Robotics Competition (DRUSE) 2017 are -

DRDO Robotics Competition (DRUSE) Application form and Process
The application process for DRDO Robotics Competition (DRUSE) has started from 14 October 2017. The eligible students can participate in the competition. The last date to register for the competition is 15 December 2017. Before registering themselves, the teams should read all the instructions carefully. So, that they would be able to fill the form correctly without any mistakes. The application has to be submitted through online mode only.

The students who are applying for the DRDO Robotics Competition (DRUSE) 2017 need to follow certain steps and guidelines to apply.
- Create Team leader Login Id and Password.
- Fill the Registration Form
- Make the payment of the requisite fee
- Upload the duly signed & scanned Registration Form
- Upload the technical proposal with registration number at the bottom of every page
- Lock your submission before the last date

Other Important Terms
- The team leader is responsible to select the appropriate state of their college/ institute/ university, which will determine their zone of participation at the 2nd level of screening. If they successfully qualify the level 1 screening.
- The medium of communication shall be English for the competition.
- All Technical proposals should have only the registration number at the bottom of every page.
- The Technical proposal with any other additional information like college/name etc. will make it invalid in the competition.
DRDO Robotics Competition (DRUSE) Selection Process
- The selection of the winner will be done in three levels of screening at different stages.
- At first level, the proposal will be reviewed by experts. After the first level of screening, shortlisted candidates will be called for the second level of screening which will be technical presentations at zonal centres.
- After that, the winning five teams from each of six zones will be called for 3rd level of screening
