About Dosti Music Project 2015
- Dosti Music Project is a U.S. State Department-sponsored exchange program for the musicians from India, Pakistan and United States of America.
- The Dosti Music Project 2015 is in its second year and as a musical program the selected musicians will be performing in various events across various cities in United States during February 21 - March 23, 2016.
- The duration of Dosti Music Project is one month, out of which the selected fellows will be spend first 3 weeks at Atlantic Center for the Arts in Florida, collaborating, composing and engaging in discussions related to development of musical strategies to address social and geopolitical issues faced by all three nations.
- All the costs related to the lodging, food and production will be taken care of during the project and the fellows will also be provided with moderate stipend.
- The applications for the Dosti Music Project are to be made online and there will be no offline process for the same.

The fellows selected for the Dosti Music Project 2015 will be eligible to the following benefits:
- Travel, Food & Production Expenses: The expenses related to Food, Travel, Lodging and Production will be covered under the program.
- Stipend: The participants of Dosti Music Project will be provided with a moderate stipend.

Dosti Music Project 2015 Application Process
The candidates are required to make online applications in order to be a part of the Dosti Music Project 2015. The details of the application process are as follow:
- Mode of Application: The applicants need to register themselves on the website of Dosti Music Project using their email id.
- Attachments: After completing the online registration, the applicants need to complete the application by uploading the following files:
- Documents: A Resume and two Letter of Recommendations from the musical mentors or peers.
- Questions: The applicants are supposed to provide answers of some questions within 150words, some of the questions are as follow:
- Have you applied to the Dosti Music Project before? What motivates you to apply?
- What first inspired you to become a musician? Where did you get your musical education or comparable experience?
- What musical projects have you been involved in during the last 12 months? If you write or produce your own music, please describe your most recent original work?
- Who and what are some of your main influences as a musician? You may provide up to 3 links to resources online about these influences. Tell us who each one is and how they influenced you?
- How would you improve music education in your city (or country)?
- Media: Applicants will be asked to submit 3-5 audio and video samples of their solo and collaborative work. The samples submitted will be judged on the basis of quality of Music not on the production quality of video. The specifications of the media files are as follow:
- For Audio Files:
- Allowed Formats: MP3, WAV, AIF/AIFF, and M4A.
- Supported Link: SoundCloud.
- Size: 100 MB
- For Video Files:
- Allowed Formats: MP4, WMV, MOV, M4V, and FLV.
- Supported Link: YouTube or Vimeo.
