Details | Nationality: The applicant can be from any country other than CERN Member countries. Academic Qualification: The student needs to be enrolled in Bachelor program in physics, computing or engineering.The student needs to be enrolled in the third year of their academic program Language: The candidates need to be fluent in English and fluency in French will be an advantage.

CERN Summer Studentship Programme Reward
The candidates can select the dates on which they will prefer to stay along with other benefits. The details related to CERN Summer Studentship Programme are:
- Duration: The duration of CERN Summer Student Programme is 9 weeks.
- Daily Allowance: The candidates will get daily allowance of 90CHF (Approx. INR 6000)
- Travel allowance: The travel allowance will be paid to the student to cover up his/her expenses on travel.
- Insurance: Students will be covered under Health Insurance Scheme (for those students with CERN contracts).
- Accommodation: The CERN Housing Service will assist you in finding accommodation on, or near the site of the laboratory.
- Work Schedule: The students will be working 40 hours/week.
CERN Summer Studentship Programme Application form and Process
The applications for the CERN Summer Studentship Programme are to be made online and the details related to the application are as follow:
Application Form: Candidates are required to register with CERN using their email id to initiate the application process. Once the registration has been done, students can log in and complete the application.
Filling the Application Form: Candidates are required to complete the application form by filling in the required details. Once the details have been filled in, candidates should upload their recent resume (CV) in PDF format along with the recent academic transcript.
Finalising the application: Once the application process from the applicant’s end is complete, he’ll get an acknowledgement of receipt, the mail will have a link for referees to submit their Reference letter in support of the candidate.

CERN Summer Student Internship Result: The candidate selected candidates will be informed about their result by the end of April 2017.
