Telangana Tourism’s Bathukamma Photo Competition

• Bathukamma Photo Competition is being organized by Telangana Tourism on the occasion of Bathukamma floral festival.
• Candidates from all over India can participate in the competition and can submit their photographs related to the theme ‘Woman and Flowers’.
• The winner of the Bathukamma Photo Competition will be rewarded with cash prizes worth Rs. 3 lakhs.
• The competition started on October 16, 2015 and the submissions can be made till October 31, 2015.
• The participants should bear in mind that they should have the copyright and other required permission for the photographs which they are uploading for the competition.

About Bathukamma

• Bathukamma is floral festival celebrated in regards to Goddess Maha Gauri-‘Life Giver’ by the Hindu women of Telangana.
• Bathukamma is a Telugu word that means ‘Mother Goddess come Alive’.
• The festival shows the cultural spirit of Telangana and is celebrated for nine days during Durga Navratri.

Telangana Tourism’s Bathukamma Photo Competition Rewards

The winners of Bathukamma Photo Competition will be rewarded with cash prizes. The details of the prizes are:

• First Prize: The winner will be rewarded with cash prize of Rs. 1,50,000.
• Second Prize: Cash Prize of Rs. 75,000 will be offered to winner of Second Prize.
• Third Prize: Winner of Third Prize will be entitled to cash prize of Rs. 50,000
• Consolation Prize: Rs. 25,000 will be given as Consolation Prize.

  • Theme: Woman and Flowers.
  • Dimensions: Minimum: 1000 Pixels, Maximum: 3000 pixels.
  • Format: Maximum 4MB.

Bathukamma Photo Competition Selection Process

• The Bathukamma Photo Competition will be judged by a group of selected jurors and no further communication will be made regarding the same.
