About Live it. Sketch it. Share It. Autodesk Design competition
- The contest is organized by Autodesk for the people with creative talents with an interest in drawing, sketching and painting.
- The competition will require the candidate to enter into the contest only through the Autodesk Sketchbook Express app.
- The Competition will be conducted online.

- A person desirous to participate has to create a drawing using Autodesk Sketchbook Express App.
- The Drawing can be in the from of an Abstract Art, Traditional Drawing, Sketch, Painting, Doodle.
What should the drawing depict?
- The drawing can depict a moment in your life that stands out
- The drawing can be a character you’ve created, or a drawing of a favorite pet.
- Or perhaps it can be something that symbolizes your culture.

Reward will be given on the basis of age groups (divided into two categories) and categories (divided into three). There will be winners as per age groups in three categories.
The ages groups are
- 13 to 18 years
- 19 to 24 years
The categories for the design competition are
- Most inspirational visual story
- Best use of color
- Best Artistic composition and overall design

- A Digital Design tablet with touch feature and pen by Wacom
- Paid subscription for online art classes at www.schoolism.com upto a maximum value of US$2000
- Artistic Critique from Bobby Chui (creative director of Imaginsim studios, Teacher of digital painting at Schoolism.com and Autodesk SketchBook® artist on your work
- An official Autodesk design competition award plaque.
- Autodesk SketchBook Pro 6 for individuals
- Winning entry - along with details like Category, Name, & country will be published on the official blog of Autodesk Sketchbook, deviantART, Facebook, and the Autodesk Education Community and Autodesk Design Competition websites.
All Finalists will get the following
- A Professional print of their entry* US$35

Steps to register for the Autodesk Design Competition
- Registration on the official website,
- Read the official rules updated by the website
- Complete the profile
- Submit the entries
Guidelines to be kept in mind while applying for the contest
- A person can submit a maximum of two entries.
- A participant can include a maximum of 15 words.
- Participants can submit the entries in the following languages
- English
- Korean
- Traditional Chinese
- Turkish
- Russian
- The entry should be in .png & .jpg format and should be in following sizes
- SketchBook® Express for tablets: 1024x768
- SketchBook® Express for desktop: 6000X3000
The submitted entry should comply with the following
- Work should be original and not copied. Just in case if the work is done with the help of some member other than the candidate, it should have the written permission of the person.
- The project must not include any kind of drugs, alcohol, guns or violence of any manner etc.
- The project must not include work that is harassing, threatening, fraudulent, stalking hateful or obscene and etc.
- Project must not include work that is criminalizing or that may encourage any kind of work.

The Jury panel will consist of 7 judges.
- No entry will be selected as a winner in more than two categories.
- Two Judges will select the entries from all the submitted entries.
- 10 finalists will be selected from the two age groups on the basis of categories, making a total of 60 selections.
- The selections will be scored on the mark value from 0-10

1. Most Inspirational Visual Story Category

- The winners will be selected on or around August 15, 2014 and will be notified by e-mail within 2 days of selection.
- After the winners are selected their eleigibility will be confirmed and they will sign winners declaration.
- Final winners will be announced on August 29, 2014 by the sponsors.
