ASEF Young Leaders Summit 2015

• Asia Europe Foundation invites applications from Young leaders, ranging from entrepreneurs, students, academics to professionals for the 2015 Young Leaders Summit on Entrepreneurship and Youth Employment
• The ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS) is for young thinkers and doers to question and explore how the entrepreneurial vein can trigger and nourish job-creation, mobility and social cohesion in Asia and Europe.
• ASEF Young Leaders Summit will be conducted from November 1-5, 2015 in association with the 12th ASEM Foreign Ministers Meeting (ASEM FMM12) at Luxembourg.
• The application deadline is September 20, 2015 and the selected participants will be contacted by September end.

THE PROGRAMME HAS BEEN DIVIDED INTO

• Pre-Event Phase: ASEF Young Leaders Summit integrates online-based preparatory phases, which will kick-start the discussions and reflections prior to the on-site gathering in Luxembourg.
• Post-Event Phase: Candidates have to participate in the impact assessment after the project wherein they have to share their experiences and what they gained.
  • Candidates also become a part of the ASEF youth network: a door to a rich Asia-Europe network.

ASEF Young Leaders Summit Reward

• Accommodation: ASEF will provide accommodation for the selected participants who are travelling from abroad.
• Food: Food will be provided during the conference programme
• Travel Subsidy: The travel subsidy includes local transportation (home airport-home), return flight costs (home country Luxembourg-home country) and local transportation

At ASEFYLS you will:

• Meet leaders from governments, business, academia and intergovernmental organisations
• Collaborate in a highly intercultural environment and link the dots between entrepreneurship and youth employment across 5 sectors: governments, corporations, education, startups and social enterprises
• Gain and develop skills required for your academic, professional and personal life
• Be able to meet and share your solutions and questions with the ASEM Leaders

ASEF Young Leaders Summit Application Process

• Interested candidates have to fill in the Application Form available online at the official website. Apply here
• Acknowledgement: Once the application form will be received, a confirmation email will be sent on the Email ID
• Participation in the ASEF Young Leaders Summit is for free.

ASEF Young Leaders Summit Selection Process

• On the basis of the applications received, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility criteria.
• The shortlisted candidates will be contacted at the end of September 2015.
• Once the shortlisted candidates have accepted our invitation the online preparatory phase begins before we meet in November 2015 in Luxembourg.
