About AMU School Admissions
AMU School Admissions 2021 - The application process for admission in AMU School for Class 1, 6 and 9 has started. The aim of AMU is to imparting education to the backward community in general and the Muslim Community in particular. Those schools that are maintained by AMU generally follow the CBSE/ NCERT curriculum. AMU School Admission in Class 1, 6, and 9 will be done on the basis of admission test & eligibility criteria. The admission of all classes in AMU Schools is open to Indian Nationals only. However, a few seats are also earmarked for foreign nationals/ children of Nonresident Indians (NRI).

Hostel Facility in AMU Schools
Hostel facilities are only available for students admitted to Class 6 in S.T.S. School and for students admitted to Class 9 in S.T.S. School and AMU Girls School and also for students admitted to Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged.

Eligibility Criteria for Class 1
The candidates must be of the age between 5 to 7 years as of 31 March 2021 i.e. the date of birth of the applicant must be between 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2016 (both days inclusive). Eligibility Criteria for Class 6

Note: For verification, the registration/ recognition or the affiliation number of the school should be clearly mentioned on the qualifying examination’s mark-sheet or certificate. |

Steps to fill the Application Form for AMU School Admissions 2021
STEP 1 (Registration): The candidates first have to register themselves on the official website by following the link given on this page above. The candidates have to give details such as Name, Email Address, etc.
STEP 2 (Fill the Application Form): After successful registration, the candidates then have to fill the application form by providing the general details such as Name, DOB, Gender, Contact Details, Address, etc.
STEP 3 (Uploading Documents): The candidates have to upload the scanned copy of their Photo, Signature, and Thumb Impression in the application form. The size & dimension of images are given below:
- Candidates have to upload the scanned copy of their latest front facing good quality coloured Photo with a white background, signature & Thumb Impression in JPG/ JPEG format only.
- The candidates have to upload Left Thumb Impression for both boys & girls. The maximum size of the Image should be 200 KB
STEP 4 (Payment and Submission): At the end, the candidates have to make the payment of the test fee and submit the application form.
NOTE: Those candidates who belong to the special category and want to get admission through this category are required to select the “YES” or in the case of not belonging to any category select “NO”. Such candidates are required to produce necessary documentary proof in support of special categories claimed if offered admission.
Payment of Application Fee
The payment of the application fee will be done through online mode. Candidates can pay the application fee through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card. Candidates should follow the instructions available on the website to make payment. It is to be ensured that the correct amount of processing charges is displayed on the generated PDF. If not then follow Refresh Payment by visiting the Dashboard/Home menu and generate the PDF again with the correct amount.
Submission of Application Form
The application form of AMU School Admission 2021 has to be submitted through the online mode only. Candidates are advised to check the application form before final submission. After making the application payment, candidates have to take the Printout of the PDF Generated Application Form on A-4 Size paper and keep it for future reference. Only Class 1 candidates are required to submit the printed hard copy of their application form on A-4 Size paper. The

- Scanned copy of date of the birth certificate of the candidate issued from Municipal Corporation/ competent authority/ school last attended/ copy of Passport.
- Scanned copy of Marks-sheet/ Grade-sheet of qualifying examination, if applicable.
- Scanned copy of documents in support of a claim under a special category, if any.
Reasons for Rejection of AMU School Application Form
Application Forms may be rejected if:
- Submitted incomplete.
- Not submitted on prescribed form
- Submitted without online payment of the requisite fee,
- Submitted after the last date.

AMU School Admissions Selection Process
The selection of candidates in AMU Schools will be based on the Admission Test & Interview. Those candidates who perform well in the written test will be called for an interview round. For candidates who qualify for the written test, obtaining a minimum of 40% marks in the Interview is essential to get eligible for selection.
AMU School Admissions 2021 - Class 1 Exam Pattern
- Mode of Test: Witten Test (Pen & Paper Based)
- Number of Questions: 25 subjective/ objective type questions
- Duration: 2 hours
- Minimum Marks Required for Interview/ Admission: 10%
- The medium of Entrance Exam: The medium of the Test paper shall be the Medium of Instruction as opted by the candidate in his/her Application Form
- Subject Comprises: English, Arithmetic, Urdu, and GK

- Duration: 2 hours
- Minimum Marks Required for Interview/ Admission: It is essential that the candidate obtains a minimum of 40% marks in Section-I in the written test to be eligible for interview/ admission.
- Mode of Test: Witten Test (Pen & Paper Based), comprises two sections that details are mentioned below:
- Section-I: It shall be of 25 marks comprising 25 Objective type questions (MCQ) of one mark each on Languages (English, Urdu, and Hindi)
- Section - II: It shall be of 60 marks comprising of 60 Objective type questions (MCQ) of one mark each with the following break-up:
