NEET 2018 Question Paper will be same for all states. After a number of controversies and protests held across the country over the question paper in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) this year. Human Resource Development (HRD) has decided that there will be same question paper will be in NEET for all states from the next academic year. He also said vernacular question papers in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test will be a mere translation of the question paper in English. The decision taken by the government will definitely affect the fate of students who are preparing for NEET.
- This year, the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted on 7 May at various centres in all over the country but students from West Bengal and Tamil Nadu got different question paper.
- Later, the concern was raised by some MPs of West Bengal and Tami Nadu. According to MPs and students from West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, the question asked in NEET 2017 was very difficult than the English and Hindi papers.

The HRD minister Prakash Javadekar said, "The vernacular question papers for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) - the all-India entrance examination for medical colleges will just be a translation of the question paper in English". He said this in a reply to a question raised by the West Bengal Education minister recently that the West Bengal students appeared in NEET 2017 in vernacular languages have faced tougher questions than the ones set in English and Hindi.
Moreover, commenting on the issue, the HRD minister Javadekar said that from next academic year, there will be a mere translation of NEET question papers so that such problems do not arise again.
