CAT Exam Centres 2018 - Registration
The candidates will have to get themselves registered for CAT 2018 on the official website of IIM CAT. After successful CAT Registration, they will be required to fill CAT Application Form 2018 by filling up basic details. While filling up the application form, they will have to choose four preferences for CAT Exam Centres from the drop-down menu on the same page. CAT Exam Centres will be allotted to the candidates by the conducted authority of CAT 2018 on the basis of the exam centre preferences.
Guidelines for CAT Exam Centres 2018
Candidates will have to follow the guidelines related to CAT Exam Centres that have been provided below
- The photograph in the CAT Admit Card and the one uploaded while filling the CAT Application Form must be the same.
- Candidates will be allowed to choose up to 4 preferred CAT Exam Centres and will be allotted one of the chosen exam centres.
- Candidates are suggested to select the nearest CAT Exam Centre as the first priority.
- New centres are being added to the list of CAT Exam Centres in order to increase the reach of CAT 2018 Exam.
- Candidates are required to bring valid identity proof with themselves in order to enter the CAT Exam Centres.
- Candidates are allowed to carry only the CAT Admit Card and Identity Proof inside the examination hall.
- Candidates may be asked to remove their footwear and also no fashion accessories, electronic items are allowed inside the CAT Exam Centres.
Time Schedule to be followed in CAT Exam Centres 2018
The candidates will have to follow the time schedule in all the CAT Exam Centres 2018 the details of which are as follows
- The CAT 2018 Exam will be conducted in two sessions i.e. Forenoon and Afternoon.
- The first session i.e. the forenoon session will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with the reporting time at the CAT Exam Centre is 7:30 am with last time for entry being 8:45 am.
- The second session i.e. the afternoon session will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm with the reporting time at the CAT Exam Centre is 1:00 pm with last time for entry being 2:15 pm.

About CAT Exam 2018
CAT stands for Common Aptitude Test and is conducted by IIMs as a pre-requisite for admission to various management programmes of IIMs. CAT is a computer-based test of 300 marks which is conducted and many management institutes along with IIMs give admission to candidates on the basis of their CAT scores. This year the CAT exam will be conducted by IIM Calcutta.
