HP BSc Nursing Counselling 2018 will be conducted in two rounds as per the prescribed schedule which will be released at the time of the announcement of HP BSc Nursing Merit List. Himachal Pradesh will conduct the counselling for the candidates who will be selected for the admission in the Colleges of Himachal Pradesh. The counselling would be conducted only for those candidates whose name is in the merit list. Himachal Pradesh University will conduct a counselling session for the successful candidates who will qualify in HPU Entrance Test 2018. The candidates will be called for the rounds of counselling on the basis of Merit List. The seat will be allotted to the candidates according to their merit-cum-choice of the candidates in the college/institution.

• HPU BSc Nursing Merit list will be declared on 24 July 2018, the selected candidates are required to attend the counselling along with original and photocopies of the requisite certificates/documents and Admission-cum-counselling form duly filled also uploaded on the university website (www.hpuniv.in) as per schedule mentioned below. 
• The candidates must bring counselling fee of Rs.100 in form of IPO drawn in the favour of "Finance Officer, HP University, Shimla-5" and also Rs. 10,000 as a token amount of fee to be deposited with the private Nursing colleges concerned after allotment of seat.

The Admission process will be completed through counselling within the specified period by the Counselling Committee constituted by the Director, Medical Education and Research, H.P, Shimla. The counselling for all the qualified candidates will be held at the following address:

H.P. University Auditorium, Gyan Path,
Summer Hill, Shimla-5. 

First Round of HPU BSc Nursing Counselling 2018

HPU BSc First round of Counselling 2018 will be conducted at H.P University Auditorium Summer Hill, Gyan Path, Shimla, for the General Combined merit of all categories from 10:30 A.M according to the dates (Tentative) given in the table below:

Second Round of  HPU BSc Nursing Counselling 2018

The second round of counselling will be conducted tentatively in September 2018 immediately after the first round. After the first round, HPU will release a list of candidates that have to appear in the second round of Counselling for seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing course against vacant seats in order of merit under State Quota in Govt./ Private Nursing Colleges:-

• All those candidates who had attended the first round of counselling, but not allotted seats.
• All those Candidates who had allotted seats under Management Quota during the first round of counselling due to non-availability of State Quota seats in private nursing colleges.
• Those candidates who had allotted seats in private nursing colleges under State Quota or those candidates who opted Govt. Nursing College only during the first round of counselling due to non-availability of seats in Govt. College, IGMC, Shimla. (Number of candidates to be called will depending upon the vacant seats).
• The candidates allotted seats in private nursing colleges are required to deposit an advance fee of Rs. 10,000 during the counselling with the college management and the remaining fee & other dues as per Govt. notification shall be deposited on the day of joining the college

• Certificate of Matriculation or its equivalent examination.
• Certificate of having passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination along with details of marks in each subject.
• A copy of equivalence certificate.
• A Certificate of good conduct/character from the Principal of the School/Institution.
•  Children of Bonafide Himachal Certificate issued by the competent authority.
• A certificate of being a Child of H.P. Govt. Employees/Employees of Autonomous Bodies wholly or partially financed by the H.P.Govt.
• Certificates of particular reserved/sub-reserved category issued by the competent authority.
• Admit Card issued by the H.P. University for Entrance Test.
• Print out of the online application form.
