St Stephens Language Course Admission 2018 - The application process for the academic year 2018-19 will start from 10 June 2018 for the admission to the Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma Language Courses offered by St Stephens Centre For Languages formerly known as School of Languages (CFL Admissions 2018). St Stephen’s College also runs a “Centre for Languages” that offers part-time Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in the following languages for students of the University of Delhi and the general public: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Sanskrit, Arabic, Urdu and Persian. The college became one of the three, original constituent colleges of the University of Delhi when it was established by an Act of the Legislature. The last date for application submission for the Certificate and Diploma/ Advanced Diploma Courses offered is 30 June 2018 and 5 July 2018 respectively.

St Stephens Language Course Offered
The regular students of St Stephen's College can also take part in below-mentioned courses. Those candidates who get admission to regular courses in 2018-19 can simultaneously take admission in language courses. St Stephens Language Course offers three courses to the students such as:

There is a provision of entrance test for Diploma Course and Advance Diploma Course. Candidates who want to get admission in these courses must appear in the entrance test. The classes will begin for all these courses from the first week of August and will continue approximately until the end of March 2019. Classes will be held according to the University calendar.
St Stephens Language Course Eligibility Criteria
Those candidates who want to get admission in any one of these above-mentioned courses must fulfil the required eligibility. The required eligibilities for all three language courses of St Stephens College are mentioned below. Eligible candidates have to fill the online application form to get admission in these courses.
Eligibility for Certificate Course
Candidates must have 55% and above marks in Class 12 or equivalent. The admission in this certificate course will be done on the basis of composite merit adding marks obtained for plus two and English Language.
Eligibility for Diploma Course/ Advance Diploma Course
The admission of candidates in Diploma Course/ Advance Diploma Course will be based on the entrance test only. Candidates who have the certificate in the relevant language from St Stephen’s College/ Delhi University/ Certificate in the requisite language from institutions other than St Stephen’s College/ DU are eligible to appear for the entrance test.

The registration process for admission in Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma will begin from 10 June 2018. The last date for application submission for the Certificate and Diploma/ Advanced Diploma Courses offered is 30 June 2018 and 5 July 2018 respectively. Submission of St. Stephen Language Course Application Form 2018
The application form can be submitted through online mode only. Candidates have to upload their scanned copy of photograph and signature before the final submission. Candidates are also required to pay the application fee through Challan to the Syndicate Bank opposite the office of the Centre for Language. There is no provision for the submission of the St Stephens application form by the candidates.
St Stephens Language Course Application Fee / Course Fee 2018
St Stephens Language Course application fee is to be paid by the candidate at the time of the application submission, The fee is to be paid by the candidate is Rs 500, the candidates. Candidates are informed that Fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstance. Transfer from one certificate course to another after admission is not permitted. The regular students of St Stephens College will get 10% fees concession if they apply for above mention courses. The course fee can be submitted directly (through Challan) to the Syndicate Bank opposite the office of the Centre for Language.

St Stephens Language Course 2018 Result
The selection of candidates in St Stephens Certificate Course is based on marks in Class 12 or equivalent. And selection in Diploma Course/ Advance Diploma Course will be based on the entrance test only. The cutoff lists for the year 2018 will be available soon. At the time of admission, applicants whose names appear on the list have to bring a printout of the online application form along with a self-attested copy of the Plus Two mark sheet for verification. Other Important Details related to St Stephens Language Course Admission
- Above mentioned language courses are part-time courses, candidates enrolled in these courses will not be regular students of the college.
- They are not entitled to college identity cards, library facilities, hostel accommodation or any other facility open to regular students of St Stephens College.
- The college reserves the right to take disciplinary action against any student found violating college discipline. This includes expulsion from the course.
