DTE Maharashtra B.Tech CAP Counselling 2018 - Started
DTE Maharashtra B.Tech CAP Counselling 2018 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result has been declared online on 9 July 2018. The candidates who want to get admission in B.Tech course of Maharashtra University have to clear MHT CET examination. The cutoff list will be prepared after the examination. The selection of the candidates will be based on the cutoff list. The application process of DTE Maharashtra B.Tech CAP Counselling 2018 started from 7 June 2018. The detailed counselling schedule for this year will be released after the declaration of result on 3 June 2018.
There will be four rounds of CAP Counselling. All the aspiring candidates willing to take admission under CAP seats have to mandatorily Register and Get Documents Verified and application confirmed at designated Facilitation Center.

DTE Maharashtra has announced the Provisional Allotment Status of CAP Round-II for Admission to First Year of Under Graduate Technical Courses in Engineering and Technology for the Academic Year 2018-19. The students can check whether they have been allotted a seat or not by entering the MHT CET Application Number and Date of Birth.

Eligibility Criteria for CAP Counselling 2018
Eligibility for All India Candidates, Maharashtra State Candidates, and Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Candidates
- The Candidate should be an Indian National.
- Candidates have to completed their HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and should have obtained score in MHTCET 2018 (PCM) or JEE (Main) 2018 Paper I as the case may be as per the required eligibility mentioned in the admission rules.
OR
- Candidates have to complete their Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in the case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
OR
- Candidates have to complete their B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC. and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks, in the case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
Eligibility Criteria for Children of NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CWIGC), Foreign National (FN) Candidates

DTE Maharashtra B.Tech CAP Counselling Application Process 2018
Eligible candidates will be able to fill the Maharashtra B.Tech CAP Counselling application form through online mode. To fill the online application form candidates should visit the official website of DTE Maharashtra or click on the following link. All the aspiring candidates willing to take admission under CAP seats have to mandatorily Register and Get Documents Verified and application confirmed at designated Facilitation Center.

Candidates who will register themselves successfully for the MHT-CET 2018 will only be able to secure their admissions further. Applicants who are willing to apply for the entrance exam are required to pay their application payment through online mode via credit/Debit card or Net banking.

Facilitation Centers for Registration and Document Verification
The candidates have to produce all the original documents for verification and Confirmation of Application Form at the Facilitation Center. All the facilitation centres will remain open on all days, 10 am to 5.00 pm (excluding Sundays and holidays) for submission & confirmation of application form.
It must be noted that only those Candidates who have Verified and Confirmed Documents at Facilitation Centers and are having CAP Merit number will be eligible for admission for all types of seats/quota under CAP.

- Non-CAP Seats- Facility of Online Registration & Documents verification, confirmation of Application Form for Admission to Seats other than CAP Seats will continue till the second week of August 2018 at FCs. The applications registered online/verified & confirmed at FC after the Third week of June 2018 will be considered only for Non-CAP Seats.
- Verification and Confirmation of Documents at facilitation centre are also mandatory for the candidates who are willing to take admission under Institutional Quota, vacant seats after CAP, Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries, Foreign National Candidates and Supernumerary Seats for NRI/OCI/PIO.
Documents Verification, Uploading & Confirmation, and Submission of B.Tech CAP Counselling Application Form 2018

Maharashtra state and All India Candidates have to personally visit Facilitation Center (FC) for Documents Verification, uploading and confirmation of Application Form. The candidates belonging to J & K Migrant/NRI/PIO/OCI/ CIWGC/FN have to send a printout of duly filled and confirmed application form along with the required documents to the following address by hand/speed post/courier for verification & confirmation;

The candidates belonging to reserved categories have to produce supporting Certificate at the time of document verification at the Facilitation Center. The certificate must be valid till 31 March 2018.
- 'Caste validity certificate' must be issued by the Scrutiny Committee of Social Justice & Special Assistance Department.
- Candidate belonging to ST category should submit “Tribe Validity Certificate” issued by the Scrutiny Committee of Tribal Development Department.
- All Backward Class candidates excluding SC & ST should produce Non-Creamy Layer certificate,

If a candidate fails to report for the acceptance of allotted seat at Admission Reporting Center in scheduled time, It will be treated as if he has rejected the allotted seat and such candidate shall not be eligible for CAP Round II and/ or III.CAP Counselling Round 4 will be conducted for such candidates.
