PUTHAT Result 2018 Declared - Check PUTHAT Counselling Schedule

PUTHAT Result 2018 has been declared on 18 May 2018 for the candidates who have appeared in the PUTHAT entrance test held on 6 May 2018. The candidates can download their result from the official website of Punjab University at https://puthat.puchd.ac.in. The candidates can also check their result here. No separate PUTHAT Result 2018 cards will be issued to the candidates by the admission office of Punjab University.  As per the guidelines of the Punjab University, the candidates belongs to general and OBC have to secure at least 15% marks as a whole and the candidates belonging to SC/ST  have to secure 10% marks in PUTHAT to appear in the merit list.

The candidates who score good marks in PUTHAT Entrance test are selected and for the same, a merit list will be prepared by Punjab University. The candidates listed in the merit list are offered seats in their desired program Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering (BHMCT) or Bachelor of Tourism & Travel Management (BTTM). The candidates who appeared in the entrance examination can check their result here on 18 May 2018. The candidates can check their PUTHAT Result 2018 by following the steps given below:

• After login, the candidates will be able to see their PUTHAT Result 2018 on the screen.
• The candidates have to download their result because they will have to produce it during the time of Counselling process.

PUTHAT Result 2018 - Process of Re-evaluation

Immediately after the declaration of the PUTHAT Result 2018, Punjab University will release a merit list on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in PUTHAT entrance examination. The candidates who have any doubt in their result can apply for re-evaluation on paying Rs. 10000 within 10 days after the declaration of the result. In case any discrepancy is found in the result then the candidate's result will be revised accordingly and also the fee of Rs. 10000) would be refunded back to the candidates.

Counselling after PUTHAT Result 2018

The counselling for final allotment of seats will be held on 27 June 2018 and 4 July 2018 in two phases. The candidates will have to be physically present at the university to avail the admission. The candidate who qualified PUTHAT Exam, have to download the Admission Form which will be available on the official website i.e. https://uihmt.puchd.ac.in/ from 30 May 2018. Later, the candidate has to submit it along with necessary original certificates (Date of birth, Qualifying Examination and applicable Category Certificate) in UIHTM department by 20 June 2018 and bring the original documents on the day of counselling. Process to be followed by shortlisted candidates after counselling

The selected candidates have to pay the admission fee on the spot and no extra time would be given to them for making the payment. The fee given below is subject to change and the students should check the website for the latest information.

Candidates, interested to avail hostel facility, are advised to bring with them an extra amount of Rs. 9050 (approximately) for admission in the hostels
