MICAT Result 2018 - Final Merit List Released!

MICAT Result 2018 - Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad has released the final merit list for PGDM - C programme of 2018 - 20 Batch. The candidates who appeared in the MICAT 1 and MICAT 2 can now check the final merit list on this page by following the link. MICA earlier released the result for the MICAT examination and now the final merit list has been announced implying the list of students eligible to seek admission. MICAT Final Merit List 2018 has been released. The merit list has been prepared after combining the result of MICAT 1 and MICAT 2. The candidates who appeared in the exam can check the final merit list by following the link. In order to check the final merit list, the candidates would be required to enter their MICA Application Number.

Steps of MICAT 2018 Selection Process 

Selection of the candidates for admission in PGDM-C course of Mudra Institute of Communications will be based on scores of the MICAT Exam, Group exercises, and Personal Interview.

STEP 1: CAT 2017, XAT 2018 and GMAT: Every candidate has to take at least one of the three exams: CAT 2017, XAT 2018 and GMAT. 

STEP 2: MICAT Exam: There will be three sections in MICAT Exam, the candidates will have to go through the Psychometric, Verbal ability, Quantitative ability, General awareness, Divergent-Convergent Reasoning and Descriptive Test. However, the Psychometric test will only act as a qualifier test.

The candidates who will qualify in MICAT exam will have to appear in GE and Personal Interview. Approximately 1/10th of the total number of candidates who appear in the two MICATs will be shortlisted for GE & PI based on the Total MICAT Scaled Score.

STEP 3: Group Exercises: All the shortlisted candidates have to go through the Group activity where they will be scored the Individual marks on the scale of 1 to 5.

STEP 4: Personal Interview: Candidates will now go through the Personal Interview where a panel of 3 Anonymous bodies will assess them.

STEP 5: Based on the composition of the score scored by the candidates in MICAT, GE, and PI. The distribution of the Weightage of marks carried by each of the steps is described as

STEP 6: Final Merit List will be prepared for the shortlisted candidates who are eligible to be the part of MICA Institute, The merit list will be made considering the given below points: 

• The relative performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT score.
• The composite score obtained in MICAT, GE, and PI.
