NIOS Registration Form 2018 - Apply Online for NIOS Admission
NIOS Registration Form 2018 is available in both online and offline mode for NIOS Admission 2018. Students, who want to get admission in Secondary and Senior Secondary examination offered by National Institute of Open Schooling, can fill the application form for NIOS Registration for all the streams (i.e. Stream 1,2,3 and 4). The last date of NIOS Registration Form 2018 for admission to the Stream 1 Block 2 without late fee is 31 January 2018, and the last date for the stream 2 examination is yet to be announced for the exams to be conducted in the month of October 2018. Currently, the registration process for the Stream 1 Block 2 are open for the interested applicants, and the registration for the Stream 3 and Stream 4 are available throughout the year. There are four streams of candidates mentioned below, who are eligible for these courses:

- Stream 2: For Unsuccessful/ Failures
- Stream 3: Secondary through On Demand Examination System

Candidates can fill the NIOS Registration Form 2018 in any mode i.e. Online and Offline mode. Candidates applying in the online mode must submit the registration form in online mode only, however, applicants applying in offline mode must send their filled in registration form along with the supporting documents at the address given on this page. Steps to fill - NIOS Registration Form 2018
Steps for Online Registration Process
- STEP 1: Candidates are required to register themselves by submitting an e-mail ID and password.
- STEP 2: Applicants have to log in to the NIOS online application portal via their registered Email Id and Password to fill and submit the application form.
- STEP 3: Upload the required documents and fill the Application Form: Candidates have to upload their photograph and fill the personal details such as Name, DOB, Gender, Address, etc.
- Candidates have to select their Accredited Institution (Study Centers) as well as subjects.
- After filling all the details candidate must click on the “next” button for payment.
- STEP 4: Now after the successful completion of the NIOS Registration Form the applicants have to pay the Registration Fee and submit the NIOS Online Registration form in online mode only. Payments options are listed below.
Steps for Offline Registration Process
- STEP 1: Download the registration form from the official website of the institution or click on the link given above. Candidates have to fill their Name, Parents/Guardian Name, Postal Address, DOB, Contact Number etc. in Capital Letters.
- STEP 2: Fill the Details: Candidates have to fill the subject codes in the given boxes according to their interest as well as their class 10th education details, If any. No any columns must be left blank.
- STEP 3: Affix the Photograph: Candidates have to paste their 4x3 size photograph in the box. Name and Reference Number of the candidate has to be mentioned behind the photograph. Candidates are informed that do not pin or staple the photograph.
- STEP 4: Registration Fee: The student has to pay the total amount of fee and mention the amount in the registration form as well as Demand Draft details.
Documents to enclose with the Offline NIOS Registration Form
Candidates must have sent the supporting attested documents with Form and get the photographs attested on the photocopies from Principal/Co-ordinator or (Gazetted Officer/Tehsildar/ District Magistrate) which must reach the officials before the due date along with the application form.

- Transfer certificate from the last school attended
- Proof of Residence
- Self-certificate regarding educational qualification
- Photocopy of class 10th board examination

- Original failure/ Compartment Marksheet of Class 10th of 12th for TOC and Laminated Marksheet are not acceptable.

Payment of the NIOS Registration Fee 2018
- Online Payment: Candidate can pay the Registration fee for the Application form via any of the methods listed below. Applicants are advised to keep the copy of the confirmation page after the successful payment is done. The admission for the Stream 1 and Stream 2 will be submitted in online mode only.

- Offline Payment: Candidate can pay the registration fee through Demand Draft. In the case of Demand Draft, the candidate must fill the DD details in the payment section. The demand draft has to be created & sent according to the streams mentioned below:

Submission of NIOS Registration Form 2018
Candidates are required to send a print-out of the internet filled in Registration Form (not the acknowledgement receipt) along with demand draft in case of payment option and relevant documents at the Registered Office given in the instructions within a week of registration.
- Once an application is submitted for processing to NIOS, an Acknowledgement Receipt is generated, which will also be sent on the Registered Mail id.
- Candidate should take a printout of filled application form for future reference.
- Do not forget to mention their names and registration number on the back of the photograph before affixing and also on the back of Bank Draft if fee is paid through Bank Draft.
General Instructions related to NIOS Registration Form 2018
- Before filling up the registration form, candidates must ensure their eligibility for admission. Otherwise, the Registration Form will be cancelled and the fee paid by you will not be refunded. Neither any intimation will be sent to the candidate, nor any correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- The admission form should be filled in English only.
- Candidates must put their signature and paste a passport size photograph on the original Application Form. Attach the attested documents with Form and get the photographs attested on the photocopies from Principal/Coordinator or Gazetted Officer/Tehsildar/ District Magistrate.
- Candidate should ensure that the particulars filled in the Application Form are correct. Don't leave any column blank in the Admission Form. Candidates have to submit original Form, photographs and signatures on the Form for admission at the AI (Study Centre) along with the duly filled in Provisional Admission Letter-cum-Receipt.
- Do not submit Application Form for Admission without supporting documents.
- Do not miss out the Personal Contact Programmes (PCPs) in each subject which all AIs have to provide on the compulsory basis.
- Provide valid E-mail ID and the mobile number for regular SMS alerts regarding the admission process.
