UGC NET 2018 Application form for the exam in December is available from 1 September 2018. Candidates who want to register themselves for UGC NET 2018 can do so before 30 September 2018. UGC NET 2018 registration can be done through online mode only and the steps to fill the UGC NET 2018 Application form has also been provided in this page below.
Steps to Fill the UGC NET Online Application Form 2018
The candidates applying for UGC NET 2018 have to clearly specify in the prescribed Application Form whether they are applying for both JRF & Eligibility for Assistant Professor OR only for the eligibility for Assistant Professor. The candidate has to fill UGC NET application form 2018 by following the steps given below. The candidates are suggested to follow the steps below and ignore any mistakes while filling the form.
STEP 1: Fill the UGC NET Application Form
First, the candidates have to visit the official website at https://cbsenet.nic.in and have to click on “Fill Application Form” then the candidates have to enter all the required details in the Online Application Form and the following details have to be entered in the application form:
- Examination details- Selection of the program which are the candidates applying for, subject, choice of the exam city
- Personal information- Name, date of birth, gender, father’s name, category, mobile no, email address, Aadhar no, mother’s name, mailing & permanent address etc.
- Educational qualification- Post graduation examination details, the subject of post-graduation Examination, Post-Graduation From, Name of the University, Examination Appearing or Passed, State of University.
And the candidates have to choose a password for login in future.
STEP 2: Upload the Photograph and Signature
The candidates have to Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature of the following specifications:

STEP 3: Payment of the UGC NET Application Fee
The candidates have to pay the application Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card.:
- Payment through e-challan:
- The candidates have to select the bank in Syndicate or Canara or ICICI to deposit the application fee through e-Challan mode. As soon as the candidates select, an e-Challan will be generated containing specific details of the candidate along with the amount to be paid.
- The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest branch of the selected bank for making payment of the application form. After the confirmation of fee deposited from Bank or UGC, the candidate will be able to print the Confirmation Page.
- Payment through Debit or Credit Card: The candidate can select the Debit or Credit Card option to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of the fee. After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the Confirmation Page.
STEP 4: Take print out of the Confirmation Page
The candidate must take a printout of the completed page and keep it for future use.
Note: The candidates are not required to send confirmation page or any other document to UGC.

Submission of UGC NET Online Form
The candidates can submit the application through online mode only. Candidates are neither required to send any certificates/documents nor the printout of the duly filled application form to the UGC. However, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the completed application form for future use.

UGC NET Application form correction will start after UGC NET 2018 application form is released for all the Registered candidates. The registered candidates who paid their UGC NET Application Fees are advised to make corrections in the UGC NET Application form.
No corrections will be entertained in the application form after the prescribed date. The candidates are suggested to follow the link to make the correction in the application form. To make the corrections, the candidates have to make the payment of the additional amount.
