CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Check Exam Date, Age Limit, Qualification
CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 has been set by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the conducting body for Common Management Admission Test. CMAT Exam is going to be conducted on 27 January 2019 for which applicants can check their minimum qualifications required to appear in the CMAT 2019. Only the candidates that fulfil the CMAT eligibility criteria will be able to give the CMAT 2019 exam. Any candidate unable to fulfil the CMAT eligibility criteria would be disqualified from giving the CMAT exam. CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2019
Nationality: Applicants who are applying for the CMAT exam 2019 must be the citizen of India only, NRI/Foreign candidate are not eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a valid bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks can apply for the CMAT 2019. Reserved category candidates have relaxation of 5%, they need to have minimum 45% marks in graduation to be eligible.
Graduation Pattern: Applicants must have completed their previous studies in (10+2+3/4) which means, they must have completed their graduation of minimum 3 years after passing out from class 12 or students who have completed their graduation from the distance learning institutes which are recognized my MHRD can also apply
Age Limit: There is no maximum or minimum age that has been set for CMAT. Candidate of any age can apply for CMAT as long as s/he is a graduate.
Institutional Qualification: The Institute from where the applicant has completed their graduation must be recognised by AICTE or Ministry of Human Resource and Development.
Final Year Students: Applicants who are in the final semester of their graduation and will complete their graduation till the commencement of the classes of MBA with the minimum percentage in aggregate can also apply.
PWD Applicants: Physically challenged applicants with 40% disability or less can apply for the CMAT Exam 2019. The candidates who have any one of the given below disability can apply.

- Physically Handicapped
- Hearing Impairment
- Dumb
CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 for Scribe Reader
Applicants can also request for the Scribe/Reader prior to the test or applicants may have to arrange them on their own, the eligibility criteria for Scribe/Reader is as follows:
- Scribe/reader must not be a friend or family member of the candidates.
- He/she must be of 19 years of age on the date of test i.e. January 28, 2019.
- He/she must not be involved in any academic tutoring or preparation for the test to be administered.
- Scribe/reader must produce his/her date of birth proof in original and must be suitable as per the above-mentioned conditions

CMAT Eligibility 2019 - Important notes
- CMAT Eligibility mentioned above is only applicable for the commencement of the CMAT Exam 2019.
- However, it is not the same as that required by the CMAT Accepting institutes and colleges as every college/institute has their own eligibility criteria for the admissions followed by the selection process.

Question 1: Who is eligible to take the test?
Candidates in the final year of the Undergraduate Programmes or who have appeared in the final year exam from a recognized institution/university can also appear in the test.

The scribe must fulfil the eligibility criteria given below
- S/he should not be a family member/friend
- S/he should not be any academic tutoring or preparation for the test to be administered

Question 3: I am in 2nd year and has given my exams for the same, am I eligible for CMAT 2019?
No, you are not eligible for CMAT 2019. You will be eligible only if you are in the final year of your graduation and have given the exam for the same.
Question 4: I have just passed class 12th, can I give CMAT 2019?
No, only graduates are allowed to give CMAT 2019.
Question 5: I am a foreign national, can I give CMAT 2019?
No, you cannot give CMAT 2019. Only the candidate who is a citizen of India can apply for CMAT 2019.
CMAT Registration 2019 for Eligible Candidates
CMAT Registration 2019 for the candidates is scheduled to start from 1 November 2018. The registration for CMAT 2019 will be done through online mode only. The candidates will be able to fill the form for CMAT registration 2019 till 30 November 2018. It is to be noted by candidates that there will be no offline registration for CMAT 2019. The candidates will have to log in and enter their personal and qualification details. Candidates will be allowed to pay CMAT Application fee through both online and offline payment. The online payment can be done through debit/credit card and offline payment can be done through SBI challan only.
