IMT Hyderabad also known as IMT H is the 4th Campus of IMT situated in the Hyderabad city in the state of Telangana, India covering 30 acres of Land. IMT Admissions are to be done online via the Common application form, the candidates have to fill a single application form where they have to select a maximum of two IMTs as a preference. IIM Hyderabad Application process for Phase 2 has started. The candidates who are looking forward to the admission into MBA course in IMT are suggested to fill the form. IMT Hyderabad Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Applicant must have minimum 50% marks in their graduation in any discipline from an AICTE/UGC approved institutions. Their graduation must be minimum 3 years duration.

Undergraduates can also apply: Final year applicants can also apply for the PGDM/MBA on one condition that they will have to submit their certificate of completion of graduation with minimum 50% marks in the academic program office of the IMT, else their admissions will be terminated.

Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have a valid score card and ID card of any one of the exams given below:

• CAT 2017
• XAT 2018
• CMAT 2018 (only considered in IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad)
• Valid GMAT score (taken between 1 January 2014 to 28 February 2018).

IMT Hyderabad Application Process

The application process for the IMT MBA (Phase 2) Admission has been started from 8 January 2018. The candidates looking forward to pursuing the course in IMT campuses should fill the application form through online mode. The candidates should know that the application form can be filled through online mode only.

Payment of the IMT Application Fee

There are three modes for the payment of the application fees listed below. The application will be considered submitted only when the application fees are successfully submitted.

Mode 1: Credit Card/ Debit Card

Mode 2: Net Banking

Mode 3: Demand Draft: Applicants applying using the Demand Draft Payment mode have to register to draw a demand draft of Rs. 2000, which is to be drawn in favour of “Institute of Management Technology” which is payable at the Ghaziabad or Delhi.

• The candidates who choose to pay the application fee via Bank Demand draft must have Demand Draft made before filling the Online Application since Demand Draft details are to be entered during filling of Application Form.

IMT Application Form Submission

After successful submission of IMT Application Form, a copy of the submitted Application Form containing ‘Tear-off’ sheet will be displayed to take the printout. The candidate has to take a printout of the same, affix their passport size the self-attested photo to the tear-off sheet and send the demand draft along with it.

Once the demand draft and tear-off sheet are received by IMT Ghaziabad, the status is automatically updated on the website. Applicants will also receive a confirmation email within the next 24 hours.     

IMT Hyderabad PGDM Course Fees

IMT Hyderabad full course fees are Rs 12 Lakhs approximately, given below is the detailed fees structure of two years, however, applicants have to pay this fees semester wise in instalments.

IMT Hyderabad Selection Process

IMT Hyderabad candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT Scores for the Next 3 Round process (CT-GE-PI) viz are;

• Critical Exercise (CT)
• Group Discussion (GD)
• Personal Interview (PI)

List of the selected and shortlisted candidates will be declared by the IMT Hyderabad in February 2018. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by their Email IDs that they have given at the time of the registrations.

Short-listed applicants will be called for the CT-GE-PI round at the center/venue they have selected/will select in Common Application Form and on the date and time which they will select through the CT-GE-PI Schedule Form.

• Critical Thinking: After the shortlisting of the candidates, selected candidates will have to go through the 30-minute long Critical Thinking Test, which will evaluate the candidate on three parameters - critical thinking, written communication skills and innovation & creativity.
• Group Exercise: After CT Test, the candidates will be formed into small groups and will perform a Group Exercise. The group will be given a problem to solve or a task to perform, which they must do together with discussion among group members. For instance, they might be asked to do a short case study, solve a puzzle, or solve a business problem. This will take approximately 30 minutes and will evaluate the candidate on four parameters – contribution of ideas, leadership potential, interpersonal skills, and communication & attitude.
• Personal Interview: After the Group Exercises, the candidate will go through the personal interview of approximately 15 minutes, during which he/she will be evaluated on four parameters: domain knowledge, communication skills, versatility (extra-curricular/general awareness), as well as values & maturity. Work Experience candidates will be additionally evaluated on the relevance of their work experience in relation to the PGDM program.
