IMT Nagpur MBA Admissions 2017

IMT Nagpur MBA Admissions 2017 will be done on the basis of CAT/XAT and CMAT Scores. Aspiring candidates who wish to take admission to IMT Nagpur must fill the common application form before 24 November 2017. IMT Nagpur is one of the four campuses of IMT Ghaziabad situated in the state of Maharashtra at the outskirts of the Nagpur city, it was established in the 2004 and spread over 27 acres.

IMT Nagpur Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have minimum 50% marks in their graduation in any discipline from an AICTE/UGC approved institutions. Their graduation must be minimum 3 years duration.

Undergraduates can also apply: Final year applicants can also apply for the PGDM/MBA on one condition that they will have to submit their certificate of completion of graduation with minimum 50% marks in the academic program office of the IMT, else their admissions will be terminated.

Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have a valid score card and ID card of any one of the following exams:

• CAT 2017
• XAT 2018
• CMAT 2018 OR
• GMAT (taken between 1 January 2014 to 28 February 2018).

IMT Nagpur Application Process

The application process for the IMT MBA Admission has been started and the candidates looking forward to pursuing the course in IMT campuses should fill the application form on or before the due date i.e. 24 November 2017. The candidates should know that the application form can be filled through online mode only.

Payment of the IMT Application Fee

There are three modes for the payment of the application fees listed below. The application will be considered submitted only when the application fees are successfully submitted.

Mode 1: Credit Card/ Debit Card

Mode 2: Net Banking

Mode 3: Demand Draft: Applicants applying using the Demand Draft Payment mode have to register to draw a demand draft of Rs. 2000, which is to be drawn in favour of “Institute of Management Technology” which is payable at the Ghaziabad or Delhi.

• The candidates who choose to pay the application fee via Bank Demand draft must have Demand Draft made before filling the Online Application since Demand Draft details are to be entered during filling of Application Form.

IMT Application Form Submission

After successful submission of IMT Application Form, a copy of the submitted Application Form containing ‘Tear-off’ sheet will be displayed to take the printout. The candidate has to take a printout of the same, affix their passport size the self-attested photo to the tear-off sheet and send the demand draft along with it.

Once the demand draft and tear-off sheet are received by IMT, the status is automatically updated on the website. Applicants will also receive a confirmation email within the next 24 hours.

IMT Nagpur Selection Process

IMT Nagpur Selection and shortlisting’s will be only on the basis of the merit of the candidates only. The stepwise selection procedure for the Nagpur Campus is given below. 

STEP 1: The candidates must have a valid score of any on the following given below exam i.e. they will be shortlisted for the further rounds based on the scores of the given below exams.

• CAT 2017
• XAT 2018
• CMAT 2018
• GMAT

STEP 2:  As per the performance and score of the applicants in any of the above exam they will be shortlisted for the next round i.e. screening of the shortlisted candidates.

STEP 3: The screening of the shortlisted candidates includes a Communication test and a Personal Interview. Screening round will be conducted in any of the places given below as per the choice and convenience of the candidates.

STEP 4: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the given below criteria for the final selections to the IMT Nagpur.

• Admission tests score.

STEP 5: Based on the performance in above screening rounds applicants will be shortlisted and the selected candidates will receive the call letter for the further procedures.

IMT Nagpur Cut Off

IMT considers the aggregate scores and does not have separate sectional cut-offs when short-listing applicants for the CT-GE-PI process. Therefore both the merit and campus score cutoffs will be the basis of selection in all the IMT campuses.
