Check NIOS result through SMS

Candidates can check the result of NIOS for class 10 and 12 via SMS. Type NIOS12<Enrollment Number> and send it to 5676750. The result will be sent to the registered mobile number through SMS.

NIOS ODES Result 2018 - On Demand Examination

NIOS On Demand Examination is the step in the direction of flexibility to the open and distance learning. This steps also help the students to take up the examination as per their wish and preparation. The basic concept of On Demand Examination is that NIOS Student can walk into the examination centre as and when he/she feels ready for the examination.

NIOS Result 2018 Pass Criteria and Certification Criteria

The candidates who have appeared in the NIOS Secondary and Senior Secondary exams of all the streams have to follow the listed below pass criteria in order to get the Pass Certificate.

NIOS Result 2018 - Mark sheet

The successful aspirants will be issued mark sheet, provisional and migration certificate after the result from the AI. The provisional certificate will be provided to the students after six months after the declaration of result of NIOS.

The prescribed fee of Rs. 400 must be paid by aspirants for the issuance of the provisional certificate, migration certificate and mark sheet on the urgent basis. Except for the pass certificate, all the other documents will be issued within 48 hours from the date of receipt of application.

NIOS 2018 Result – Improvement of Performance

In case, a candidate has passed a subject but is not satisfied with their performance, NIOS provides an opportunity to apply again for the particular subject only once for public examination. An aspirant has to apply for the improvement in the same manner as for appearing in the first examination by paying the requisite amount of fee. This facility can be availed only once in one subject within five years from the year of admission in public examination.

For the subjects involving theory and practical examination, the candidate will have to appear for both the exams for the improvement of marks. Better of the two results will be considered and printed on the mark sheet.

NIOS Result 2018 - Re-checking & Re-evaluation

Candidates, who are having any ambiguity in their result can apply for re-checking or re-evaluation within 15 days after the announcement of result. The applications for the same can be made online or apply to the regional director of the concerned regional centre.

• Re-checking – As mentioned earlier, the applicants can be filled online or at the regional director of the concerned regional centre of NIOS. It must be noted that answers are not re-evaluated during re-checking. During the rechecking of answer scripts, re-totalling of marks is done and it is also ensured that no question is left unevaluated. The payment of application for re-checking can be done through credit/debit cards/net banking or through bank draft drawn in favour of the ‘Secretary, NIOS’.
  

• NIOS Revaluation: Candidates have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 800 (Rupees Eight Hundred only) per subject to the NIOS through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking or through Bank Draft that has been drawn in favour of the Secretary, NIOS, payable at the concerned Regional Centre.
• NIOS ODES Revolution: For re-evaluation of ODES Answer Scripts at the Senior Secondary level, candidates have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand only) per subject to NIOS through a Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Secretary, NIOS, payable at the concerned Regional Centre. The Re-evaluation will be completed within 45 days from the last date of application

NIOS Result Class 12 for the year 2015

NIOS Result Class 12 was declared on June 2015. A total number of 215369 candidates had registered for the examination out of which 192860 appeared for it. The overall pass percentage was 51.38%. The percentage for boys was 50.36%, and that for girls was 53.62%. Thus, following the national-wide trend, the girls outperformed the boys by 3.26%.
